(this is largely caused by the game getting confused by mouse controls)

Also, you have not mentioned the mods that change sleeping bags and horses to My Little Pony themed colors. These mods are largely entertaining for many, many days.
1) Yes, that is one HELL of a bug. I did the quest involving large ammounts of alcohol and ended up paying my way through every single stage because of the mouse thing. Grrr.

2) I saw that mod, and it baffled me. Why why why why do you take a game like skyrim and mod the BEDROLLS to be MLP?! you know, when there are actual HORSES in the game? Just saying.
Because bandits having pretty pink sleeping bags are HILARIOUS.

the mods I use are:
...
re-enchant - cuz I love looking cool but the cool armors got crappy bonuses so re-enchant to make better bonuses!
Is this a real mod? I looked for it but I couln't find it. I really want something like this, I have a really good sword but with a really weak enchantment. Can you post the link to the mod?
this mod works only on few items like dragon priest masks, nightingale armor, thief guild armor etc.
if you want a good sword I suggest you craft a dedric one, smiting is one of the easiest skills to train so to get it to a 100 should take you about 15min (crafting leather braces is the best way).
***you cant go from dragon to dedric
after you crafted one get equips that make you weapon and armor upgrades better
and a +50% smiting potion (unless you got 100 alchemy whit max first perk and benefactor perk then just craft a blacksmith potion)
find out what it needs to be upgraded, get it.
upgrade the sword on a grinding stone whit all these buffs and you will get a legendary sword.

I tried the interface mod but had issues with it, like the scrolling didn't work right so I couldn't select categories from vendors that had many different kinds of items.

My favorite gameplay mod is the one that slows down skill gain. This makes trainers and thus money way more important. Also it greatly increases the amount of materials you need to grind "crafting" skills, again making money matter a lot more.

But the best mod of all, turns the skyrim theme on the main page to this:

I wish I could figure out how to get it to play when I fight dragons. Except I would lose every fight because I would stop to headbang.

Btw Skyrim Nexus http://skyrimnexus.com/ is pretty much the definitive place to get mods. They have a nexus for each Bethesda RPG. I haven't their their mod installer yet but supposedly it will automatically update the mods.

I want a mod that makes every single menu usable by both the mouse and the keyboard. Few things are more annoying than a sudden confirmation dialogue that you have to reach over and move the big heavy mouse for.

I'm also waiting for the inevitable community bug fix mod, but apart from that, Bethesda already included the 'essential' mods I had on Oblivion.

*Sigh* Yes, I get we get that Skyrim is meant to be a good game, I mean, I've played it, and it's ok, not really my sorta thing, but ok none the less, but really, I don't see articles like this for any other games. This is just silly, why give Skyrim articles about it's mods, it's just another game in the long run, and by this time next year, we'll all be gushing about some other game that's 'Teh best fuckin thang evar!"
The Escapist gets money from page views.
Lots of people like Skyrim.
People read about things they like.

I've only installed an aesthetic mod so far (mind out of the gutter, pervs). The bad compression in the normal maps are distracting so I installed a mod that smooths them out.

Besides the ones in the article, the mods I'm using now are:

Serious HD Retexture Landscape Skyrim [http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2146] -New high-resolution landscape textures that, unlike almost all the other ones out there, are *extremely* faithful to the original colours, design, etc. Stick to the 1024x1024 version rather than the 2048x2048, there's very little discernible difference in looks, but a huge difference in performance.

Realistic Water Textures [http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=711] -Get this one if only for the way it makes swamps and lakes actually look like swamps and lakes, rather than rivers in circle form.

Enhanced Distant Terrain [http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1598] -Adds a little (or a lot, if you want) "noise" to the distant terrain textures to make them look less soupy, so there's no change in performance.

HD Furniture and Barrels [http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=238] -Basically does what it says on the tin.

Just wondering, has anyone heard of a "mass enchanting mod". Basically, in vanilla, every time you enchant something, it deselects everything, and you have to select them all over again, even if you have multiple items. This makes enchanting a real time waster compared to what i think it should be.

On a similar vein, has anyone found a mod that does away with the confirmation boxes? I would be fine with them, however, you can't click enter to do away with them, you have to manually mouse to the confirm button, and then press confirm. Which really ruins the motion of crafting (and roughly doubles the length of enchanting for me)
