[HEADING=1]BACON.[/HEADING]

I love bacon. Don't we all? How do you like your bacon done? How much bacon do you like to have when you're having it? When DO you eat bacon? Just for breakfast or fairly regularly? Any particular concoctions you like to create with your bacon? I figured with the board's overall bacon craze, we needed to have a little dedication to it all.

...oh, and there's some issue with people using misleading titles for their threads going around. Discuss?

Nowadays, I bake bacon in an oven on a rack above a sheet pan, with peppercorn and maple syrup.
Though, if I have the time, I like to use a frying pan, and use the residual grease to cook eggs.

I would like to see a new movie starring George Wendt.

11/10.

I would like to George Wendt eating bacon in a movie.

Mostly at Saturday breakfast.

I would like to see George Wendt in a bacon eating movie.

Bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers.

I have not seen any bacon eating movies with George Wendt, but I can make time if he's interested.

I can't have bacon... I will die.(to be fair, I did consume bacon until few strips away from death)

Also, I think those threads are fine. Up to par with other top-notch gaming journalism, really.

Bacon feels like a rarity to me, i mean sure it has an appetizing taste, but it leaves so much grease. but microwaving bacon doesn't feel the same. the few times that i do have bacon, it's usually because someone asked if they wanted to make some and may as well make extra. usually wash up most of the time.

In between brown sauce or red sauce, a bacon sarnie isn't one without red sauce, though brown sauce has a bit of mild spiciness that could go well with the greasiness/saltiness.

Oh wait, bacon is still a thing. It's alright with melted cheese (the real cheese) I guess. But nowadays I just snack on wholesome human souls. They're apparently much healthier and more ethical.

I have bacon very seldom.
I like it crispy, done in a fryingpan.
I very much like it, I just don't have it very often.
Usually when I have bacon, it's combined into the other food, like rolled around stuff or in a sauce and so on.

I can't do that myself - they keep getting stuck in my teeth.

Only high quality dry cure back bacon is acceptable. I really don't like streaky, smoked, or low quality bacon.

Ahh, what you need is class 3 soul floss, works wonders for the more messy souls of modern society. Enamel can be a bit piss-weak against the abrasive nature of human identity.

See I don't mind misleading titles as long as its not just bait, and also a complete non-sequitur thread. Random posts are awesome! Its always a delight trying to figure out someone's mindset based on their preferred method for cooking bacon.
But the bait threads can fuck right off.

Misleading titles? What're you doing, getting off-topic, boy?!

Just kidding! Yeah, I don't see what kind of wunderbar point people are trying to make with these things. And apologizing for them after the fact makes it even worse, since this was totally avoidable on their part.

Also, bacon bacon bacon bacon! I prefer it crispy, myself. It can't hold as much grease that way and...well...I can only take so much of that before getting sick. It's a tragic tale of pepperoni pizza.

Nevermind that! Who likesa a good Hawaiian Pizza? That's where I like bacon the most!

I was going to have bacon for lunch today, but no one else wanted any and I couldn't be bothered making bacon sandwiches for just myself so I ended up baconless.

Bacon is one of the traditional toppings for St. Louis style pizza, along with ham, sausage, and pepperoni. You see, the cheese which makes the pizza what it is is a hedonistic blend of all the cheeses that are bad for you. So naturally, it's cured pig meat that is required to bring it all together.

I use bacon as a condiment and that's probably why I'm going to die before I hit old age. That being said though, I can't stand things that lie about being bacon...Bacon Bits are alright sometimes but then there are bacon flavored things that are actually just things with liquid-smoked poured on them and that's just the worst thing since moldy bread. If it's available, I'll have Bacon no matter what the time of day!

When it comes to misleading titles though the first thing that comes to mind is the hentai Mysteries of the Necronomicon. When one brings up The Necronomicon, that might as well be code for "TENTACLES!!" The thing is, at no point during the entire film did tentacles make an appearance. Yeah, there was bondage but there's a difference between that and Lovecrafrian Tentacles. Stop judging me.

I don't mind if there is self-awareness or a reason for lying (like veggie bacon; it's smarter than it looks).

I find it weird how few Americans have ever heard of Back Bacon the more meaty cut with less fat, it's just like a very thin Pork Chop.

I love me some bacon but I have it less nowadays because I'm starting to consider my weight, might even join a gym some day in the next 5 years.

ALTHOUGH.

When I do have bacon, it's real bacon:

Not that pissy, streaky shit that's pictured in the OP.

Well, the thing is that some Americans like to chew the fat.
