Is there a game where you were sad that the developers missed out on a chance to really bring depth, variety, or uniqueness to the game? If so, speak up.

Crysis: I liked crysis but I feel that that there should have been objectives that utilized the open world more such as having to climb a series alien structures scattered throughout the landscape or detecting and following a faint trail of residue.

Far Cry 2: Having factions actually have wars between each other at various moments and they call you up to participate. Also having a like dislike meter for every faction. There is a war going on between these groups, make it feel like actual tensions and conflict are occuring.

My latest was Marvel Vs Capcom 3. The combat was great but the story did not exist and that kinda bummed me out. You get 2 pages of dialogue after fighting through six rounds and killing Galactus. Not worth it.

Fable 3: I wanted to spend more time as king. The fact that your decisions are only set in certain dates isn't cool. I also wished that as I made my allies that my evil actions made a bigger impact on the world around me. Also the ending sucked.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - If only the combat system didn't suck so much, this game would have been awesome.

Devil May Cry: There totally needs to be a DMC game with co-op.

FFXII dropped the ball in countless ways, but the #1 was the fact that it just seemed to end before the socio-political motivations behind the Rosarian-Archadian war were made clear, and it didn't clearly display that were few differences between them either, which would suceed in making it a satire on the pointless nature of many, if not most wars.
