Have you ever been mistaken for somebody/something?

For example: I was often mistaken for a girl before my teenage years (It was the long hair).

I'd love somebody to say Gordon Freeman. I'd like to meet them.

I was told that I looked like Gordon Freeman right after I got glasses and grew my beard. But now my hair is longer and red, so I look more like Obi-Wan Kenobi with glasses.

I get switched around with my brother all the frakking time. It makes no sense, since we barely look alike according to every family member we know. He just turned 16 and I turn 19 in a couple of months. He's also about 10 cm shorter than me, but more importantly: he doesn't wear frakking glasses. I mean, how hard can it be then?!

I was hanging around in a park with friends a few years ago when a group of girls came up to me hugged me and started chatting to me. They thought I was the boyfriend of one of their friends.
after the "Whats happening" shock went away i asked them who they were, they realised their mistake.
When they walked past a few minutes later they had a boy with them who looked scarely like me.

I've been mistaken for a girl a few times (woo) and there was a (rather large) group of girls at my college that were convinced I looked exactly like John Mayer.

My mum used to do that all the time, she calls me Lucy (my sisters name) T__T we do look a bit alike though.
She called me by my dogs name once too, but she's called 'Princess' so that's not too bad.
And I always get my nieces and nephews mixed up.

"I'm not Chelsea, I'm Teigan!"

I've been mistaken for a singer named John Popper a couple times. I was walking around a Sears one time, and an employee walked up to me asking if I was this person, because they wanted an autograph. A few months later I was camping/sightseeing in Virginia and some random woman walks up to me and tells me I look a lot like John Popper. It was so weird, I finally decided to look the guy up and I can see where some people might see a similarity... kinda.

Nahh, it's just got a sort of feminine shape to it. :S
That was a while ago before I realised it was Lucario though.
