I got mistaken (apparently) for a guy with my name who looks like me.

Basically, me and my mate were walking through town and this guy we've never seen before gets out his car and asks if I'm me. We say yea and he starts having a go at me about sleeping with his wife 2 years ago (I would've been 14). We pointed out that I'm 16 and he said he'd got me mistaken for another guy with my name, what big coincidence blah blah blah.

It was either one HUGE, scary coincidence or someone getting this guy to play a weird joke on me.

No, but when I was little there was a picture in a local newspaper of a football player when he was a kid and it was identical to me. Even my mom couldn't tell the different!
Scary shit that.

The bear out of Bo' Selecta, I wish as that would mean I'm apparently Frankie Boyle ¬.¬, but I always get mistaken for some randoms friend and usually get annoyed and scare them off after they realise it annoys me :D

In high school there was a person with a similar first and last name, every time I skipped a class he got called to the office. Priceless.

I've been told I look like Michael Phelps.

But I speak normal English and am in pretty horrible shape.

Recently, people have told me that I look like Jayne Cobb. When I was a senior in high school, I got super sick and lost a ton of weight and had long hair, so people would mistake me for a girl from behind. From the front the goatee would throw 'em off. Also, once I gained some of the weight back, people would refer to me as a hippee, which is laughable if anybody heard me talk.

All the time. Well, kinda. It's the reverse of the OP's question. If any of my friends spot a thin, pale dude with curly hair and glasses, they alert me that I have a clone. These are fairly common traits for people who share my ethnicity.

In short, my friends are fucking stupid.

Then again, I've mistaken women for my roommate, so I have no right to talk.

after so long it gets quite annoying.

the best bit about it is when somebody shouts "Jesus Christ" and you turn round and say "yes? what do you want"

Keep the beard! Convince the christians that you are Jesus Christ re-born, and then with the chruch behind you, you could do anything.

I remember two years ago (I was 16 at the time) some random girl (who looked to be in her 20s) came up and thought I was someone from here old high school. I just went with it at first because I thought she might have been someone I knew from childhood, and kept going after I learned she wasn't because I was in too deep any ways.

Me and my dad are often confused by my grandma's friends.

Also in kindergarden, me and my best friend got confused all the time even though we look completely different
