Mixed drink suggestions?

So me and a couple buddies usually go out for drinks about once a week, and we always have a good time. Thing is I don't know any good drinks having been raised in a house with no booze, so I always end up getting Crown and coke, straight shots of liquor (usually some sort of whiskey) or a Sam Adams. This is getting old. Any suggestions for a good mixed drink that looks manly? I got a Hurricane once and it was good, but I got griefed the rest of the night cuz it looked effeminate. All suggestions welcome and appreciated!

1 shot tequila, add Tabasco sauce to taste.

Or... vodka or rum or tequila or gin mixed with crystal light and water. Works very well (as aspartame increases the effects of alcohol), plus less (if any) of a hangover the next day due to no sugar and keeping hydrated

As a dessert: Kahlua or Bailey's and ice cream (vanilla)

I've tried their regular brandy before, and I really like it. Never tried cognac though....

Also I should have mentioned that I can't drink Jaeger. It's the only drink I've ever tried that made me sick to my stomach.

I usually go with half vodka, half creme, and a few spills of Kapali, which is just as good as Khalua but not nearly as expensive.

Hogbombs are decent. They're made just like a Jagerbomb, but with Schwartzhog instead of Jagermeister.

Umm.. Ive spent a lot of time mixing drinks. As a student a Snakebite has always been a favorite (1/2 pint Cider, 1/2 pint Beer topped with blackcurrent juice) but now if im drinking heavily I have Vodka Shandys (1/2 pint beer, 2-3 shots of vodka, Topped with lemonade) Obviously the 2nd is better to make at a party as most pubs wont serve it

Mm, Dead Man's Float. A double of Bailey's over a scoop of ice cream. Delicious stuff right there.

Personally, I stick with rum (or Bacardi O) and Coke. It looks 'manly' and it tastes good.
