I was reading Game Informer a couple of months ago and someone had written a letter to them talking about how awesome a game would be if there was a mash-up of genres, in particular FPS and RTS. GI answered back something along the lines of "well your in luck because 'some game' is coming out for that does just that." In my head all I could do was laugh because there is already a game that does that and that is Battlezone 2 (not sure if the first one was like that or not) for PC. It worked pretty well and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

I was wondering:
A) Has anyone else played this game?
B) If there are any other games out there that mix genre's?
C) If there is, are they worth seeking out playing?

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl anyone? It's an FPS/RPG.

Or maybe Savage 1 & 2. FPS, RPG, RTS.

FPS RPG's are flooding the market at press time, so don't even bother to mention them.
Fallout 3, Bioshock, S.T.A.L.K.E.R....
It's not even out that long, and the market is being saturated.
As for a FPS RTS, I think the closest we've gotten to the genre would be Tom Clancy's EndWar, where you commanded your team with your voice commands.

Of the top of my head Marck Ecko's Getting Up Contents Under Pressure (I think I'm typing this name for the fifth time today) mixed stealth and beat'em up together and did a pretty good job.

Fallout 3 is an RPG/FPS hybrid. If I remember, Deus Ex 1 and 2 are FPS/RPG games too.

Spellforce 1 and 2 is an RTS/RPG hybrid, so is Warcraft 3. HoMM IV is turn-based strategy/RPG, but it was a mistake in this franchise.

Savage is FPS/RPG/RTS. Not sure about FPS, but for the rest, agree.

Megaman Battle Network for GBA is a RPG/card/turn-based action adventure game hybrid. Very good one, actually. It's an RPG, you pick attacks in forms of "battle chips" you buy and get from enemies, you upgrade your character (it's really awesome in III - you can customise your character however you like), yet you choose those chips in turns.

I loved the battle network games. They were addicting as hell. Although the first one was too easy, the others gave a great challenge and it was fun to boot.
