He played it off as a joke at the end but if you look at his face when the stats first come up he looks actually shocked, he even dropped the controller.
No he's not. He's egotistical & acts like a 7 year old w/ ADHD who just ate all his halloween candy in 1 hour. He's also a dirty fighter.bcponpcp27 said:Mayhem is a really cool guy, but isn't the best fighter. I do think that all MMA fights should be now held in a ball pit though.
I had a feeling somebody was gonna put xkcd up here sooner or later.AvsJoe said:Also, this is the second best thing I've seen with a ball-pit in it. This [http://xkcd.com/150/] is still the best, though. By far.
HAHAHA!cleverlymadeup said:as i said over in the news section this is the best punking ever in mma, done by Bas "El Guapo" Rutten on the best colour commentator around, and not just cause i'm Canadian, Mauro Ranallorasmusernst said:Maybe half of them got past the ball pit, I think.Kubanator said:Did no one see that he said he was kidding at the end?
Attention-spans sure are on the decline XD
if you don't know who Mauro is, he was Bas's long time partner in PrideFC for commentary and the current Strikeforce/EliteXC commentator. he blows Mike Goldberg out of the water and has some of the greatest one liners and metaphors ever doing commentaryrasmusernst said:HAHAHA!
AWWWW! Baby was gonna cry!
They could have taken it a bit further and had Cro Cop try and pick a fight with that mauro-guy. That would have been even more hilarious.
And Bas is always funny.
Thanks for the info.cleverlymadeup said:if you don't know who Mauro is, he was Bas's long time partner in PrideFC for commentary and the current Strikeforce/EliteXC commentator. he blows Mike Goldberg out of the water and has some of the greatest one liners and metaphors ever doing commentaryrasmusernst said:HAHAHA!

and yes Bas is awesome and from people i know that have met him say he's super nice, really nice and funny guy and the man does love the liver shot
don't know anything about the brawl but it is possiblerasmusernst said:Thanks for the info.
Hmm, I've seen some pride fights, so I guess I've heard him a couple of times with Bas.
Bas seems like a nice guy. Wouldn't want to get on his bad side, though!
You seem to know a lot about Bas. Maybe you can enlighten me. A Swedish relative of mine mentioned to me that Bas was involved in some big bar brawl in Sweden a few years back. Is that true? It was probably before he moved to America.

he actually has one of the best "wanna step outside stories"
he was at some sports dinner thing and he was stealing the show and being ... well himself. anyways an NFL guy didn't like Bas stealing his thunder and being the smart ass that Bas is, so he gets pissed off at Bas and Bas says "well you wanna step outside?" and the NFL guys goes "ok" and as they're walking outside one of the bouncers stopped the NFL guy and said "ummm you do know who that is right?" the NFL guy says "yeah some punk i'm going to beat badly" and the bouncer goes "that's Bas Rutten, former UFC heavy weight champ" and the NFL guy decided it was best not to fight him and apologized to Bas
most of the mma guys are really cool and awesome guys and not the cold hearted killers they are made out to be, most love to joke around and have fun
yeah most of them are really awesome guysrasmusernst said:I have a lot of respect for those mma guys.
Some of them look like pretty well rounded fighters. I've only done a little bit of boxing, but it's enough to know how hard that stuff is to get right. As for them being portrayed as cold-hearted killers, I hope most people can recognize a bit of show-business theatrics when they see it.
