Well with the announcement, or reannouncement (not quite sure which) of Dust 514, EVE Online's FPS for consoles which works with the MMO got me wondering, where are we going? It's nice to see cross platform cooperation but, its not to where I would like to see it go.
I won't lie, the dream in my head mixes EVE online, with TFS with the option to go FPS. We are so close, yet so far. I want to build, expand, start with NOTHING and work my way up to power. I want to have to work the mines taking odd jobs until I can buy my first cruiser, and then from there, expand into the stars. I wanna say take the crafting from WoW (though the freedom to do it all from runescape) the shooting and fighting from any good FPS (debatable which are included), the ability to explore every world, and throw in the expansiveness of EVE.
What kind of MMO's are YOU looking for into the future?
