Mockumentaries aka Fake Documentaries

With Fubar 2 [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1555747/] coming to Canadian theaters soon and I'm Still Here [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1356864/] getting a limited release even sooner, mockumentaries (aka mock documentaries) are experiencing a sort of Renaissance. Other recent examples include the films District 9 [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1136608/], Borat [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443453/], Rec [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038988/], and the TV shows The Office [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290978/] and Trailer Park Boys [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290988/]. So I'm wondering how many of you have heard of or seen any mock-docs, and which are your favourites.

Best in Show is one of my favorites. All the Christopher Guest movies are pretty great, actually. I also like The Life Aquatic, though I'm not sure it quite fits the mold.

I absolutely loved Trailer Park Boys, my brother is actually planning on dressing up as Mr. Lahey for Halloween I believe. All the other ones mentioned except the first two I've seen as well and were alright.

Somewhat, yes. It's not often that I'm in the mood for Rap, but when I am I usually go for ICP or some of the old German stuff from about 10 years back. Also, that whole carnival theme was awesome.

Besides, I love those facepainting designs, they're my favorite for Halloween parties. It probably helps that there's little to no stigma on ICP over here since very, very few people know them.
