Deal with it. You don't get to have the same game with better graphics because you were born in a later generation than most of us.

Morroblivion [http://morroblivion.com/], dude. It's unbelievable.

TWO THINGS:

1) You will need Morrowind AND Oblivion

2) It is largely complete, but is still in beta

Just seeing it in action is unbelievable, though. Morrowind is a tremendous game, and it pains me to think someone might not give it the old college try just because they didn't like the aging cosmetics. Morroblivion is a dynamite mod, though, and seems to be just what you're looking for.

PS: Seen any elves? A-hahahaha!
This has piqued my interest. I hope I don't have to dredge up my Morrowind Discs as a result - the last time those exited their tomb I was supposed to be fighting a war.

is there anyway to speed up a bit, because it's just dull to trudge though the whole thing
You could kill the last boss in 15-20 mins if you know what you're doing, but if you don't like exploring, talking to people, doing quests and random shit (witch is 90% of the game) just don't play it,you won't miss much.
No no, i mean, like walking speed. i dont mind everything else

Ah!Well ye, sure.Lots of ways actually.

Raise your speed attribute on level up, drink potions-speed or levitate (levitate could make you fly faster then the running speed) , enchant items or better yet find the boots of blinding speed ( +200 speed, but makes you blind-can be countered).Or a mod.

Cheers.

I suggest getting the morrowind graphics extender. Google it.
Then go to http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.List for graphics replacers.
Also download "Better Bodies" and for armor and weapon textures go here http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.List

BUT before you do any of that get the morrowind plugin manager (makes modding much easier) http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=10

Gonna complain about Galaga and DOOM too? Its an older game. (Not Galaga and DOOM old, but still)
That worst looking 3D game was the best looking when graphics had not plateaud yet.
Back in my day we had to walk to gamestop uphill both ways in the snow barefoot!

This kind of stuff is a good reason why I am critical of "graphic whores".
Agree with this post.
Damn graphic whores. I love it when games have low requirements but OWN in gameplay (hey, Im a laptop user)
Oh and I have not played a game with "motion blur" on... EVER

Thank you so much for this! As someone who regularly re-installs Morrowind to go exploring again this takes it to a different level.
