Modern firepower vs game aliens

Of the endless horde of videogame aliens and unspeakable horrors we've dispatched over the years, which breed of space freak do you think todays weapons would actually stand a chance at defeating should they decide to make Earth their summer vacation home?

The Zerg? The Covenant? The Chimera? Sarah Jessica Parker?

How do we stack up against these mutoid terrors? And how would we go about repelling them?

I would say perhaps the necromorphs if there werent any classic horror villains or bad decision making as seen in every horror movie/game. example: "dont go down into the basement, bad things are always in basements, everyone knows that! oh, oh your going down into the basement, whats this? Theres blood in the wall, ok you want to go further, ignoring all signs to bail, whats this? a corpse, ok, time to turn around. BAM! the serial killer knocked you out you dumb ass. oh no, looks like he is having fun ideas with this power drill he's holding" natural selection wins again

Xenomorphs, Predators, The Covenant but only on a ground forces scale, Scags from borderlands but I dont know if they count, and definatly by a strech, but the things that the alien from Destroy all Humans is, their name elludes me.

The Zerg is the only one in your list that modern weaponry wouldn't properly function against. I think Terran Marines are all equipped with .50 caliber machine guns and they're not exactly an impenetrable defense.
