It does look pretty cool and its coming to steam also.I may not have a Series X, but I want this game to succeed. Compulsion Games are creating something truly special here. Kick ass South of Midnight.
I already know my laptop can't run that. It's a good laptop, but the power can only do so much. My brother has an Alienware Laptop with Steam and Game Pass. I know he'll pick it up.It does look pretty cool and its coming to steam also.
Ahh, wonder how it will handle on a steam deck. Seems like the lil deck can handle games that should punch out of its weight pretty well.I already know my laptop can't run that. My most anticipated game of the year! Granted I've not had a good track record of those, but.... still.I may not have a Series X, but I want this game to succeed. Compulsion Games are creating something truly special here. Kick ass South of Midnight.
I don't keep track. Which ones?Granted I've not had a good track record of those, but.... still.
Well I just remember last year was Plucky Squire, which was cute but kind of shallow on the gameplay/puzzle aspect.I don't keep track. Which ones?
My biggest surprises in 2024 were Victory Heat Rally and Marvel Superheroes vs. Street Fighter from the MvC Collection. That game is nowhere near as bad as fighting game enthusiasts and the FGC like to really claim. I do see some the flaws, but overall, I actually like it a bit more than X-Men vs. Street Fighter.Well I just remember last year was Plucky Squire, which was cute but kind of shallow on the gameplay/puzzle aspect.
I'm not complaining by any means- every year my favorite game is the one that ended up taking me by surprise and that is really part of the fun (Minishoot Adventures, Cocoon)
Nobody hates XMVsSF, they just laugh at how bullshit the balance is.My biggest surprises in 2024 were Victory Heat Rally and Marvel Superheroes vs. Street Fighter from the MvC Collection. Yeah, I've noticed the double standard more than once. MSHvSF may be more balanced by comparison, but there are still a ton of other busted stuff and ruin the balance, it makes most SNK fighting games look more balanced by comparison.Nobody hates XMVsSF, they just laugh at how bullshit the balance is.
Oh no, SNK bias in the FGC is pretty real. They'd definitely try to persuade people 98 Daimon is more fucked up than the entirety of MagStormSent in MVC2.Yeah, I've noticed the double standard more than once. I meant more so in causing damage output and not crazy pretzel motions.Oh no, SNK bias in the FGC is pretty real. They'd definitely try to persuade people 98 Daimon is more fucked up than the entirety of MagStormSent in MVC2.
Nobody has pretzel motions in 98. Hardest shit is probably HCF/HCBx2 and Wine Glass Motions (aka Orochinagi and Ranbu supers).I meant more so in causing damage output and not crazy pretzel motions.
Oh, you're talking about KOF '98? I had no idea. I was confused by your wording and terms there.Nobody has pretzel motions in 98. Hardest shit is probably HCF/HCBx2 and Wine Glass Motions (aka Orochinagi and Ranbu supers).
