Eh, doesn't matter to me. I am looking forward to them both. It just gives me a chance to make some money before Singularity comes out so I can get it.

Makes perfect sense, there will be no competing with MW2!

I must say I have not heard of this game however.

While I guess it makes sense financially, I'm pissed that Singularity is being pushed back. I want to play with the glove that bends spacetime dammit! :D

More time for final polishing on Singularity, will just mean a better end product.
Yes, all that extra time certainly helped Duke Nukem Forever.
Yes, but good old Infinity Ward/Activision have better staff than the blind lepor monkeys that were 3D Realms.

you can debate all you want as to whether or not MW2 will be a let down, but we all know it'll be a sales extravaganza. No business savvy company in the world would release second product to compete with its first. When little Johnny is only given the choice for one game at Xmas he's not gonna pick an unknown like Singularity.

For those who don't know, Singularity is a game developed by the same people doing Wolfenstein with a brilliant concept, the ability to control time. Coupled with decent physics it looks like a good game. Glad they decided to do this.

Whew.

Now I'll have money for thisw game when it comes out. I only have enough money for three games for the rest of the year, and ODST, MW2 and L4D2 already claimed those spots.....

Timeshift anyone?

Also, I have never heard of this Singularity untill now.
Yes but Timeshift was average at best and didn't do much on the controlling time thing. In Singularity if you don't like an enemy you can age them till they're dust. Need ammo? Rewind that pile of kindling till it becomes a crate of ammo.

I am now interested...

Still more interested in Modern Warfare 2 however.

smart marketing move, i mean, konami delayed the european release of homecoming because of the sept./oct. madness, but i still feel sorry for singularity. I mean, it looked like a good version of timeshift.

I hope MW2 doesn't let me down.
I hadn't really heard much about this "Singularity" game anyway, so no complaining from me.

Too bad,Singularity seemed liked more fun than MW2.Time puzzles,ex-soviet experiments and pew-pew?How can it go wrong?
On the other hand,MW2 seems pretty bland. It feels like the ungodly offspring of CoD4 and Rainbow6:Vegas.

On top of that, why move the release date of a game that's going to sell extremely well no matter what and push back what could be a good, lucrative franchise to after Christmas, potentially hurting its sales alot?

It's not that bad actually, atleast for me. I will just have one less game that I will have to pay for in November. MW2 and BioShock 2 already booked.
