Wut?Glademaster said:- Switching to prone or from prone severely affects accuracy for all weaponsThere is nothing wrong with drop shooting it is a skill that has been in CoD since the beginning and if you aim lower instead of for the person's head they make themselves a bigger target. I don't see how people don't get this. Drop Shooting=/= imba
Drop shotting is the cheapest, dirtiest tactic I have ever encountered, it's not a skill, it's a reflex to any sign of danger.
"Derp, here comes a person, I'll drop to the floor then shoot him, hardy har, because I lack the skill to win a fair firefight"
Yes, I could go around aiming at the floor, but I don't want to, because then you will get people jump shooting you.
Here's an idea, ditch going prone altogether, drop shotting arseholes will disapear overnight and those 'pro reflexes' will be used more on actually being good than it will on being some loser who drops to the floor at the first sign of a person.
Yes. I have seen team mates try to drop shot me, because it's so ingrained into their nooby psyche that they don't even check for friend or foe first, they just do it out of nooby habit.
