Mods, where to find em?

I recently bought Silent Hunter 3 off of Steam. It's fun, but I've heard that some mods correct some glitches in the game and add a bunch of new content.I've found several mod websites, but I'm super paranoid about downloading stuff off the internet (I use a shared computer and so if I catch a virus, It dosen't just screw me up, it hurts other people)

So my question, do any of you guys know about a safe and reliable mod website? Als do you have any mods to reccomend for Silent hunter 3 or any other game?

Maybe you should try an SH3(Silent hunter, not Silent hill) community. I'm sure they'd have a better idea on where to direct you.
