What mods are you currently playing/ have played/ are thinking of installing? For me it's Neotokyo. I liked how the shooting handled and the class system. I deleted it due to space problems but I'm re installnig it.

What mods do you like to play?

There's a bunch of very nice mods for C&C Generals, like Shockwave and Cold War Crisis. I'm also working on and off on one of my own (progress is kinda slow). Modding has always been half the fun of the C&C series. Well, until EA made it next to impossible, but that's beside the point...

Baldur's Gate Tutu, linking the first and second with expansion pack included together into one big game and also completely updating the first with the graphics engine of the second game. All in all a pretty damn epic mod.

If we're allowed to include full conversion mods, I'd also include Metastasis: Minerva. It's most likely the best mod I've ever played, it's supposed to take place in the Half-Life universe, somewhere in the Baltics. It's so well done that the guy who made it was actually hired by Valve, when he had released Minerva. The idea of vertical, instead of horizontal level design is ingenious.

Oh, I almost forgot! The Restored Content Mod for KotOR 2. It makes a great game into a masterpiece, by including a alot of the left out parts, that Obsidian didn't have time to finish.

Other mods I've yet to check out, but hear awesome things about is the complete overhaul of Oblivion mod and a lot of Source mods.

That's the mods I use, that I can think on the top of my head.

The Nameless Mod, a mod with a unique setting where flame wars are fought by setting people on fire.
Second on The Nameless Mod. Awesome music, awesome characters, and the best boss ever when choosing to work for Worldcorp Incorporated. He had to be the funniest guy in any recent game to talk to.

The competitive mod for UT2004.

I very rarely use mods. CS:S is kind of based on on a mod, if that counts.

Dystopia- an amazing cyber-punk total conversion for half life 2. Choose between light, medium and heavy classes each with different weapons and available implants. As well as objectives in realspace there are also support things in cyberspace e.g turrets that can be hacked to target the opposing team. There is always two wars going on; one in realspace and the other between "deckers" in cyberspace. The two overlap heavily; a decker is defenseless while decking.
The Hidden: Source One player is the hidden the others are military guys sent to kill him. The hidden is completely invisible other than footsteps noises when running and splashes in the water. The hidden has a knife, a bomb and a lunge ability while the military have the choice between a spray and pray machine gun and a shotgun.

Garry's Mod.

The trials and vehicle racing mod for UT2004, they were more clever map design than mods, but I count them as mods.

San Andreas MP, fun times were had crouching on top of someone's car and doing drive bys with M16s. It's a shame it was usually laggy, buggy and half of the maps were a clusterfuck of BF Injections and far too many ramps.

urban terror. /endthread

First, it took a meh game(quake 3), and then it turned it in a standalone, fun shooter where you can walljump and pwn some guys with an arsenal of boomsticks. The standard bomb round is at least 2 minutes long and it's so fast paced, it's epicly fun. The game also invented first person platforming, and did it well.

OH And it's free and you dont need quake 3. Go get it at http://www.urbanterror.info/news/home/

I haven't tested it yet, but I downloaded a mod for Dragon Age 2 that turns all the spiders into Mabari or Darkspawn. If it works, that will be the best mod EVER!

Afraid of Monsters [http://www.moddb.com/mods/afraid-of-monsters-dc], a Half-Life mod, and five hundred times scarier than that Dead Space shit.

Right now I'm playing a Mount & Blade: Warband mod call Prophesy of Pendor. Easily my favorite mod for the first M&B, and the Warband one is pretty good as well.

I've tanked so much time in Zombie Master (a Source mod)... the community is very lively for a mod that's developement team disbanded almost two years ago.

EDIT: I've been trying for fucking ages to get a Source mod called Underhell to work.

First, it worked fine until I used a flashlight. EARRAPE. Then the game crashed.

Deleted, reinstalled from the same .RAR file. Better, but the game still crashed, subtitles were missing characters, and sometimes the earrape would randomly happen.

Deleted it again, redownloaded it. Worked PERFECTLY... until, around halfway through the tutorial, the game crashed.

Delete. Redownloaded the .exe file instead of the .rar file. Worked fine, but again the flashlight was utter earrape and characters were missing from everywhere... the subtitles, the menu, the options, even the "Exit Game" button.

Delete. Redownload. Run .exe file. IMMEDIATELY the file doesn't respond, and upon closing it my computer freezes, only displaying the background. Reboot works fine.

No matter how many times I run the same .exe file, the same bloody thing happens.

But, Jesus, I want to play it -- the people who made Nightmare House 2 helped with production, the music is awesome, the gameplay reminded me heavily of a combination Heavy Rain and SWAT 4, and it uses the SMOD Engine, and I fucking love SMOD.

My personal favorite mods to play are Age of Chivalry, Dystopia, and Korsakovia, though I'm complete rubbish at scary games and haven't made it too far in the latter.
