I recently finished reading Mogworld(right now in fact) and if you dont know what it is, its Yahtzees newly published book, and I must say.....It was good, really rather good, like something good..made of chocolate.

But even though I already had high hopes for it(it coming from Yahtzee and all)it really impressed me, when I read the discribtion of it, I imagined it being very comical but in fact, it had a very serious tone, at least, thats what I got from it. So if youre a fan of Yahtzee, you should read it, and even if you arent you should still read it, it certainly satisfied me.

Id give it a 8/10 and just wanted to say; outstanding work Mr.Croshaw, please do write moar and in the off chance ull see this....
Did Mr.Wonderful kill Meryl, the first time that is?

I don't think he killed her, he might've done at some point but they die so often its of no particular relevance. Also I agree its a really good read, I highly recommend it.

I just started reading it last night. I was at about 150 pages in at 3:30am when I put it down. So far I love it.

I just finished the book myself and I can't say that I agree with your sentiments. I thought that it was imaginative and entertaining, but lacking somewhat. I never felt really attached to any of the characters, probably because Jim never seemed to feel very strongly about anything. I also felt that, while it had its moments, the novel lacked a lot of the humor that I've come to expect from Yahtzee. I would probably give it a 6 or 6.5 out of 10. Regardless, it's a good first book and I have no doubt that any further books Yahtzee writes will benefit from lessons he learned writing this one.

You guys are such tools! Such tools, I say! This is clearly a 7.245, everyone who read it would agree.

Are we really rating books based on this stupid 0-10 scale now? C'mon this has to stop.

I've read the preview and while it did seem pretty funny, it didn't grip me in any way. Then again humerous fantasy isn't my genre, altough I liked the first Discworld book.
