Have you ever thought about mold? How it grows and expands across an apple in an attempt to circumnavigate the edible sphere? How are we not similar to mold in our expansion across the earth? Imagine one mold spore, not the green smelly mass steadily growing on the fruit you bought last month and forgot about, just one spore. It is impossible for us to picture what this existence "feels." You can look at the greater picture, and see its growth as a colony, but we never think of mold as a group of hundreds of thousands of individual spores. When we try to picture what our earth looks like from space it then becomes just as difficult to picture one individual person, much the same as with mold and mold spores. This does not mean the individual spore is not important, merely when observed by a larger being, humans, it is easier to understand as one mold colony, not a group of individuals.
What are your thoughts on this? I know its kind of weird but iv been struggling to understand why.
