Monster Hunter 3

I love the monster hunter series and have been playing Unite to death ever since it came out, but during one of my party's all-nighter sessions we were talking about MH3 and it being for the Wii. I just couldn't bring myself to be hyped up about it nearly as much as I was for Monster Hunter Unite. The thought of going from Joystick to Wiimote seemed almost laughable, yes you can use the classic controller but it won't be the same.

I am however excited about the rumor that Wii Speak may be an added feature. I am certainly going to get it, but I'm not sure how I'm going to adapt to the wii. I know one thing for certain, it's going to be a hell of a long time before I even want to think about fighting Plesioth with a Wiimote.

Wondering what other MH players thought about it, or how people who have never played or heard of monster hunter until now thought about it.

Well... i dont own a wii, so im not planning on getting this anytime soon.

But it does look intriging, and i heard good things about this game...

Also, where is the discussion value, thers no question, do we just talk about this game?

I loved Monster Hunter for all of three seconds. That is how long I owned a PSP before I realized that DS was better for multiplayer action.

I am excited though to hear one is coming out for the Wii, because I'd love to play more of it, without having to own a useless hand held.

Yeah Monster Hunter is the only reason I still own my PSP. Was psyched about Phantasy Star Portable but the novelty wore off after about a month. Me and my party mates just switched back to MHF2 and waited until Unite came out.
