Monster Hunter Tri Glitch?

Alrighty, i've just gotten the new monster hunter game for the wii, and i think its great.

only one problem...

When i talked to the guild sweetheart, she said that the quests were finally up. I chose to do the first (and only avalible) mission and she sent me off.

Here's where it gets good...

When i tried to leave the village, the game wouldn't let me out. I just kept running into the invisible wall without the the game telling me i could leave by pressing "a"

Help anyone?

You have to go out on the boat to the left. =]

Brick is right. Contrary to the hunting without a quest you have to take the boat on the left side of the village. Some quests will be in other areas than the forest, so its only logical why you cant take the exit to the forest for the quests.
