Monster Musume Character to get possibly World's Largest Daimakura

Announced today, the girls of Monster Musume are getting some merchandise to go with their new anime! They're getting some tee-shirts, keychains, and other little things like that. But there is definitely ONE thing that will not be little.

The series star, the Lamia Miia (pictured):

is going to be getting what could possibly be the world's LARGEST Daimakura - or "holding pillow". The business in charge of making Miia's pillow is going to make the pillow LIFE SIZED, meaning the pillow will be just over 7 meters long when fully displayed. (21 feet)

Oh no, she does. She very much does. Her skirt is just covering it. The manga makes it very clear that she has that.

I've never understood the appeal of these pillow cases. They're just not my think. I'd be too embarrassed I think to actually have one on my pillow. Now if they start making ALTER or Kotobukiya level statues of these girls, I'm in.
This is impressive though. Way to go all out.

Ok, you know what - fock it. Lets consider the logistics instead. Let say that someone would to buy such a thing. Can you fit it into a car? Or even better - if you were to order it online, how do they deliver it? Its huge!

Long pillows are actually kinda awesome. I wouldnt want one like that in my room (it seems weird to me) but its cool to have a pillow that you can wrap around your body. During hot summers i often convert my bedcover into a pillow.

Pillows can be compressed. They bag it in plastic, suck the air out and tadaa, tiny pillow! It still take up a lot of space (something like 14 compressed regular pillows?), but it'd be shippable. Unpacking it and seeing it expand to its true size would be either amazing or make you shit bricks. Maybe both.

I ordered a giant Totoro pillow/bed (It's big enough for me to curl up in anyway) and it came vacuum packed. It was still heavy as fuck, though.

It was pretty awesome when it expanded. It was like seeing a giant marshmallow coming to life.

Huh, learn something new everyday.... I have to admit, im interested in seeing something so huge growing right there, in front of your face.... guess that would be either intimidating or pretty hilarious. Now i have to see that - to the youtube-mobile!
