Has anyone else watched Moone Boy? A friend sent me a link today and I couldn't help myself, watched all the available episodes.
Have to say, I'm happy to see Chris O'Dowd working. And the appropriate use of 80's music, specifically UK-centric music, is actually refreshing to me. As a child of the 80's, I immediately grew tired of movies and shows referencing the crappiest, most well known bands for near-ironic purposes. It was nice to hear a nice mix of bands such as Altered Images (Scottish), Crowded House (Australian) and of course, The Waterboys, specifically the opening to Don't Bang the Drum.
Any show that uses Don't Bang the Drum is okay in my book. And hey, Chris O'Dowd. This will keep me happy until the final episode of The IT Crowd reaches the states. Anyone care to see the first five episodes [http://www.hulu.com/moone-boy] for free? Has anyone else seen Moone Boy?
