Moral dilemma

Hey everyone, so my friend has recently gotten into PC gaming has constantly been bugging me to join him on CoD 4 MW. After a while I agree, so I go over to EB Games and look for the game, 40$ for it. This made me frown considering the game is quite a few years old. I'm debating on the 3 options.

1. I should just bow and buy the game

2. Go back to my xbox and continue to work on my groove in my couch

3. Go look for a torrent and buy and eye patch

So forum, what do you guys think, and I dont know if this is against rules but a push in the right direction towards option 3 would be greatly apreeciated. Thanks guys and gals

Pirating games and playing online often requires you to jump through a multitude of hoops. Just letting you know.
You can probably find a copy online through Gamestop/Amazon for a lot cheaper than $40, though.

Yeah, advocating piracy is a suspendable offence here, not to mention the fact that piracy is pretty damn immoral anyway. If you don't think the game is worth that much money, don't buy it. Simple as.

Don't be a pirate. Doing so only adds to the ridiculous DRMs we have to put up with. Piracy is out and out theft, no ifs, ands, or buts. (Extra Credits did a great piece on it a few weeks ago).

If you don't want to shell out for it, wait for your b-day and ask for it. Or wait for a Steam sale.

Not sure if MW2 is tied to your email account or not though.

Another alternative is to say bollocks to MW2 and get a copy of Battlefield 2142 instead. Much cheaper and a great online PC experience.

You could probably get it cheaper pre-owned, you just might have to do some digging. Otherwise, wait for a sale, online or retail.
