This isn't so much an opening to a discussion as it is a thought I had and want to impart. The next time you're in a crowded place - a mall, a restaurant, a busy street - consider this:

Imagine that everyone around you is dead. No particular cause, not disease or bombs, they're just lying where they're standing right now. You're the only person here alive.

Now, imagine there's no food. Anywhere.

Consider how long it would take you to cave and start eating the bodies, and how long it would take you - days of eating them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - to finish eating them all.

Just do me a favor and try that on for size next time you're in a crowd.

Why wait at all? I'd just start eating them now, even if they weren't dead.

Are there zombies? If so, invite them to the feast.

The scary thing is i wouldnt hesitate freezing them to preserve them. I would start to cook one of the guys as soon as im hungry. I think the fact i woudlnt be effected by the horror of the sitaution is because i do not know any of them. Also im redicously calm minded. (I cant spell as you can tell)

I don't need a crowd for that. I would never eat bodies. 'sides they would rot and i could never hurt them because i get sick as soon as i see a wound.

i've just gone as far as thinking everyone was bald.
i think you should cut back on resident evil, left 4 dead, dead rising, house of the dead or any other zombie game youre currently occupied with.

still i'll probably try it next time in a crowd.

Just make sure they keep their rotting mitts off the drumsticks.

hmm, i think the point of the bodies going off is a valid one but if they didnt i think i would start to do it, how long until i was fully feasting is another matter, baby bites at first :p maybe a nibble on a finger or summit

The worst part being that after eating enough of them, you would begin to want to eat more human flesh. Turns out eating people actually messes up your mind and makes you go "bonkers" (that's a technical term).

dead bodies are worse then you might think.

being calm and being surrounded by dead are 2 very VERY different things.

You'd be fairly screwed anyway I would have thought, all of that rotting flesh would spread disease like wildfire and it'd be hard to escape that without going somewhere where there were no people anyway, so unless you acted very quickly I think you'd be fairly well gone.

Strangely enough, I had this exact thought the other day. I was in Tesco, attempting to drown out the sounds of screaming infants with the strains of good ol' Gyorgy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgRZnsAgKng). God I love the power of the imagination.

Nothing like a cannibalism thread the day after Thanksgiving to make you look at the leftover Turkey in a whole new light...

Sounds like a rather "stupid" scenario

Though, tbh, I'd eat human if I was in a pinch so yeah, why not eat them once I got hungry?

Absolutely, that's the best bit (and is always stolen first).
