More secrets about River Song

So after watching the trailer for the second half of this series of doctor who, it seemed to confirm my suspicions that River is also the woman with the eye patch who's trying to kill the doctor.

Your thoughts, escapists?

I'm not so sure. I think if that were the case they wouldn't have made it so obvious in the trailer. It seems like something Moffat would try to hint at until the very end but not go "LOOK RIVER SONG IN AN EYE-PATCH, GEDDIT?".

If you were planning that type of twist surely you wouldn't advertise it in the trailer long before the airing of the season.

Also i think its fairly safe to assume River isn't Eye patch Woman considering River dies in the first episode she's ever in with David Tennant.
