So I want to replay Morrowind on my laptop with toaster specs.

Recommend me some good mods that won't Fuck it up and make the game even better?

There are some mods in Morrowind Overhaul that could work well with crappy specs. Take a look at those. But if the computer is anything like and original Xbox, don't bother. I first tried playing the game on the original Xbox. Bad idea.

Morrowind Code Patch and Morrowind Patch Project. Two independent and compatible unofficial patches that fix a vast majority of the bugs and issues with the vanilla game. Basically, you need to play with these.

Other than that, Tamriel Rebuilt. It adds a bunch of content that is just as good, if not better, than the base game. I would highly recommend it.
