So, I've been playing Morrowind. Vanilla version. I've decided that I can't stand the combat, so for the first time, I've decided to try and mod a PC game. The specific mods I'm trying to download are this [http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2576] and this [http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=2164]. Anyone want to flex their E-Peen and help me out? Right now I'm having trouble designating where I want to extract the .zip to. I have the steam version of Morrowind, if it matters.

Also, for added discussion value, what are some of your favorite mods for Morrowind?

Drop the files in the "data" folder, then check the boxes for them in the launcher. They should also have readmes. You can also use a mod manager if you want, which will usually have its own rules. Also, mod-wise, I would highly recommend Tamriel Rebuilt Maps 1 + 2 if you have the slightest interest in playing Telvanni.

A mod manager is generally the easier option, you can also just drop the relevant files in the data folder (read the readme).

For mods, I strongly suggest Better Bodies, Mournhold Expanded,MWSE, and anything else that catches your eye.

As embarrassed as I am to say it, I can't find the morrowind data folder. Do you have the time to help me out with that?

It should be in the game folder, which should either be in the "program files" directory or in steamapps if you have the steam version.
