If Ed Boon posted a picture of a full moon, and if the moon is some sort of hint... the moon, it is associated with werewolves and vampires, so Scarlet maybe? However, the moon influences the worlds ocean, and the ocean evaporates and over time that evaporation becomes rain... rain? that's it! the next character is Rain!

Or the moon could mean they are bringing back the Pit stage (Pit 1 and 2 had a full moon sky) which might also reveal that Stage Fatalities are coming back. And I like me the Pit Stage.

I've got my fingers crossed for a character from DC Comics. Not necessarily because I want to play as game wherein Faux-bo can fight in Mortal Kombat but mainly because I still feel cheated over the fact that Injustice wasted a slot on Scorpion when it could have used one of over a hundred other characters as a DLC character...Actually, Gods and Monsters' Superman, Batman or, Wonder Woman would make a pretty cool addition...

Seems to be more or less like a teaser for features we won't see until next year. The "all available in the first half of 2016" seems to signify that the DLC will come in one big package.

Aaah yeah Frost appeared in story mode too (albeit super briefly), guess she is a contender as well
This leaves only the question of a slightly bulky silhouette but that could just be due to her pose (maybe she has her arms apart and is channeling an ice ball or something).

Stage Fatalities

Now that would be seriously kick ass.
Real stage fatalities, not what they have in game atm, as much as it's lulzy to throw old ladies at your enemies.
I'd be hoping for another dead pool seeing how gruesome it was in mk9 but I'll take what I can get.

Mortal Kombat X recently added Jason Voorhies as a character, I'd like to see Master Chief from Halo added as a character. Also, Batman and superman would be awesome characters to add. My favorite character of all in Mortal Kombat is still Noob Saibot.
