Most annoying characters

Over the last 12 weeks I have been stuck at home (broken leg) and as such I have spent most of my time reading or watching movies/TV shows (thank god for netflix).

It had been many years since I had watched Buffy so I started to watch it again. Just as good as I remember so I started to watch Angel as I did not see it when it was on tv. Did not enjoy it as much but it was ok so I forced myself to keep watching, until half way into series 4. I stopped for one reason.

All he does is ***** about his Dad. We get it you had a really screwed up childhood in a hell dimention and you have daddy issues, shut up about it all ready and do something constructive for christ sake!

Honerable mentions goto every single politician in the Mass Effect games (because they are all pants on head retarded) and, while it has been years since I read them and I have (thankfully) forgoten alot of what happpended in them, Ron weasley from Harry Potter. I just seem to remember hating everything he said or did.

Hm, I'll also choose some characters from the Buffy universe - namely the nerd villains from Season 6...Warren and whatever their names are. It literally doesn't make any sense as to why they're evil and they are the worst storyline I've ever seen in TV, enough to stop me watching.

My second choice would be Murder Face from Metalocalypse, although I think they did that on purpose so it doesn't count as much. inb4 JarJar

Hatsumi, the main character from the awful, awful manga series Hot Gimmick. Gods, how I hate that manga.

Yeah, Connor and the Trio are mainly annoying. I can understand why they were in the show (to provide Angel with a moral conflict between paternal instinct and his own morality, and to demonstrate that growing up stops being glamorous and starts being hard), but the actual characterisation seems a bit weak, although perhaps moreso now than it did at the time due to the move towards geekhood becoming more socially acceptable.

If I had to plump for one character who annoys me, off the top of my head, I'd say Mystique from First Class. I know Jennifer Lawrence has proven herself remarkably down to earth and interesting, but in that particular role, I couldn't stand her.

Pretty much every male harem protagonist in history. All the same spineless, useless, and moronic characters cut and pasted through multiple series with an occasional dash of pervert here and there. A couple break the mold and actually become more valuable throughout the series but it's still pretty rare. Rarer still are the few who actually start off useful.Even a couple female protagonist can annoy the hell out of me.

Prince Joffrey goes without saying.

Rose Tyler drove me crazy throughout the first two seasons of Dr.Who. I hated every thing about her, from her "usefulness" to her actor. I really just hated her. I almost threw a party when a new companion came in.
