Mostly because I'm working through a Solo Legendary Reach campaign, grunts are gonna take my vote on this one. I don't care what kind of grunt he is. He. Is. A. Prick.
Plasma Pistol Prick: Overcharge + like 4 shots from anyone else with a PP, and yo' dead. Also, there's usually about 5,000 of these guys at once.
Fuel Rod Prick: 1 (fuckin 1!) shot and you're doomed. Worst when you don't see them amongst all the other 4,999 pricks.
Needler Pricks: Needler needles home in on you, and take forever to reach you (this means that right as your shield should recharge, the damn needle will hit you and keep it from doing so).
Suicide Prick: Not bad once you learn to kill all the grunts before taking on an Elite, but still. Prick.
OH, and now the grunts aren't as much comic relief due to the choice to not translate Covenant battle chat.
Anyway, guess I just needed to vent. This Legendary thing will kill me yet.

Reasons:
1: They're hard to see.
2: They spawn 20 of the most annoying enemies in the game, making them the most annoying enemies in the game.
3: Death animation isn't pleasingly gory for the effort to kill them.
4: They sound like someone locked a vaccum cleaner in a plastic bin in space.
5: They're stupid looking.
6: They usually keep their distance, making it impossible to use the no telefrag built in parameter glitch that makes it so they can't attack you, but you have to be RIGHT IN THEIR FACE.
7: They float.
8: They show up when you REALLY don't want them to.
9: When killed, releases MORE of the most annoying enemies in the game, who will all fly into your face at once.
The patrol drones from Resistance 2. I wish I could see myself fighting those things, doing melee attacks to the air like a jackass. Oh, and the fucking Furies! My rocket launcher can kill a boss taller than a skyscraper, but it's powerless against some little fish *****! (Translation: You can't kill them.)
I agree, V2's MAKE ME WANT TO SNAP SOMEONES NECK!!! I just had to avoid dirk, and take the gateway camp to the west. I hate it because it was misty, and the aim sucked even more to the nearly invincible V2's. Also, The First Spider Splicer In neptunes bounty, has like 600 health, and when it is like half dead, it escapes... I waste so much ammo...

Naw, the super powerful ghouls, especially at Point Lookout. NO amount of radiation can take the human body and make it THAT impervious to bullets, much less super techy weapons that own every other guy in the game.
