Bullet Storm looks pretty awesome, it says it will bring so much new things to the first person shooter genre.
I was disappointed when I saw Brink and Rage coming out next year... I thought I saw Brink coming out around Halo: Reach and Rage coming out a whole year after Reach? That game looked done for me.
Bulletstorm confuses me to call it an "original game". I mean, it does have original gameplay elements, but then they go and make the entire game a grey/brown First Person Shooter, like we don't have enough of those....Serving UpSmiles said:

God... how many times to I have to hear people whine about the color palettes in FPS games? Seriously? It wasn't funny when Yahtzee did it, and it's not funny now. It's almost as bad as a Portal meme.
You want color in your shooters? Play Team Fortress or Halo. Nobody is going to have bright pink armor in any game that is trying to a reasonable representation of reality. I mean, seriously, Gears of War would probably lose a lot of it's emotional undertone if the locust were all BRIGHT PURPLE!

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I shall quote myself... again!

screens look awesome and make it look like it could be a completely awesome game. However, the video link really pulled it down. The guy was panicking because there was one robot, but then he took it out by running towards it and blocking until he was close enough to beat it to death. On the other hand, the fighting did look quite cool and was reminiscent of some good hack-slashers... then i noticed that although the enemies ran up to him at the same time, one of them seemed to wait until his buddy was completely destroyed before attacking.T-Bone24 said:Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It looks like something developed by the heavenly sword crew, also reminds me of Jac and Daxter/rachet and clank style of games, just like you said.
But regardless of my criticism, this is a game i am now looking forward to. Thankyou for enlightening me
and to answer the thread with my own response, i was going to say Vindictus, a free game developed by Nexon... however, they now have an official website up for it, so it may already be out

Does The Last Guardian count? Not technically original, but probably the game I know about that I am looking forward to the most.
