But if it's advertised that way then why should it had anything else going on? If the is supposed to be moe and it indeed is that then it has accomplished what it had tried to do. Job well done. Why expect it to be something it isn't trying to be? That's like expecting good gunplay from Telltales Walking Dead games.
Moe and writing quality are not mutually exclusive with writing being able to enhance it's "cute" moments by providing context and substances to it while with the Walking Dead, gunplay would take away from the experience.
All I ask is for a moe show to have the bare modicum of writing. The recent Supernatural Battles Become Commonplace had that so why shouldn't I hold other shows to a basic standard.
If you ask me, Paras is no where near high enough on the list.
Best girl by far last year.
Fucking Asuna bullshit though... Is she even relevant any more? Stopped watching at episode 16 of the original because of the icky gross fan-service-y direction it was taking.
So... any theories on why she got first place while that hawt piece of Cicada nymph only got stick with 19th? Asuna isn't exactly a beacon of infinite pure charisma.
Just the facts first.

So, the only thing strange in the big list is still Shuu Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul, he didn't make it into either gender top 20s but was #23 with 251 Votes total.
Aesthetically, I prefer anime characters with smaller eyes, narrower faces, lips that constitute more than a single line, & larger noses, preferably from pre Y2K series. Everything on that list was pretty fugly to me.
