Most awesome main character.

What, in your opinion, is the MOST awesome main character in any game, ever. By awesome I mean coolness, not realism or able-to-relate-to-ness.

I myself cannot decide on any one and would value your opinions.

Old guy from L4D (forgotten name) because of "This is nothing on the great zombie attack of 67"
Rico Rodriguez from Just Cause because he can do all that crazy shit.

Kratos because he is the only main character I would be afraid to meet in real life. I fear might geekiness might offend him and he would brutally slay me in some entertaining and at the same time horrifying manner.

Anyone who attaches large serrated blades with chains attached to them to his arms who then kills thousands upon thousands of demons, crawls out of hell, kills more demons, kills a god, becomes a god, and then has to start that entire process over is definitely awesome in my book.

Hmm, it's hard to name the most awesome character ever. I don't know if this is my top choice, but the Sniper from Team Fortress 2 is definitely up there. He shot a guy in the head, which cause the victim to knock a bottle through a second guy's eye, causing the second guy to frenetically fire a grenade launcher about until he fell off a platform onto a pile of incendiary barrels and blew himself up. And he has an Australian accent. Those two facts make him extremely badass.

The battle is two parts, BUT by regards to story and not gameplay, he kicks your ass.
