I think I remembered it correctly... It's been a while.tthor said:...ok, unlike most people, i've never been very critical of the gunblade, but after that description of how it works... wtf?kyosai7 said:Final Fantasy VIII, main weapon of Squall Leonhart. It doesn't fire ranged bullets, but rather, the bullets explode through the blade upon pulling the trigger, making the blade vibrate and cut harder, dealing more damage.clutch-monkey said:at least most of the weapons in this thread remain usable even if realism is thrown out the window.. i assume that hideous contraption is from some final fantasy game?Jordi said:Normally I hate it when people say "/thread", but I have to say that that crowbar is pretty awesome.Merkavar said:![]()

As if all of the other weapons in this thread are totally practical. Gunblades are awesome, because swords are often and these swords have a freakin' gun on them. Yeah!clutch-monkey said:^ how do you even hold it steady for aiming with that huge blade off the end?Zekksta said:This

That is a personal railgun that makes the gun that rapid fires armor piercing rockets look like a peashooter.![]()
That is two tank sized railguns mounted on the shoulders of a powerd armor/mini mecha, barely bigger than a space marine termie, able to punch a hole in a Land Raider without to much effort.![]()
But my absolute favorite is the Ork Shokk Attack Gun

You should. I've gotten som really awesome moments from it, such as a single firewarrior killing an Eldar Howling Banshee Exarch in melee mano-a-mano or rolling for 86 armor saves on a unit with ten wounds, without taking a single casualty. Those are the things you really remember.Nouw said:Yup I should start to try and begin WH40K again. Yeah, but all I have to do is go to AP 3 or below and they just start falling apart. Since you can't ever* have more than ten of them, they're not that great for their cost, especially since they only go at initiative 3. Jaws of the world wolf plus a Frostblade kind of makes them cry, or a couple of turns from a Long Fangs squad with either lascannons or krak missiles.Stukov961 said:Can I bring my other army?Nouw said:Stukov961 said:Space Marines pale in comparison to the Tau.Nouw said:I say any weapon of the Space Marines from Warhammer 40,000.

Necron Warscythes, ignores all saves. And comes with a built in Gauss Blaster, an assault gun that will flay you layer by layer until nothing remains.
Or watching the remaining three members of a fire warrior squad run down a squad of 9 wyches they beat in close combat. - Results not typical, YMMVStukov961 said:*snip*

all those are mere peanuts compared to the eldar distortion cannon, which fires a rift between reality and the warp at their targets, tearing them apart due to the forces involvedStukov961 said:Space Marines pale in comparison to the Tau.Nouw said:I say any weapon of the Space Marines from Warhammer 40,000.
