Niko Bellic from GTAIV, for me. Maybe because I hadn't played a GTA game since the original, but I loved the way he interacted with everything: vaulting fences, stuffing his face with a cheeseburger, falling down drunk, hauling people out of cars, walking down the street like a badass while pumping bullets into puny gangsters. Miles of smiles.
Kratos bored me.
