Oh god, I despise her non-spells. Weave back and forth constantly, do it again, stream, stream, rinse, lather repeat. Even if you can angle a shot from anywhere with Sakuya B, she is still a massive pain to fight.
Actually, I normally do Reimu A so I don't have to bother with aiming too much.
But Reimu A is soooo weak and slow.
That's because she's meant to be a beginner's character. If she wasn't mostly intended for people who aren't that good, why does she get a longer grace period? ...It all comes down to personal preference, and I'd really not argue about character tiers anywhere if I can help it.

Final boss in Lost Planet 2 was a ***** because you are never explicitly told how to beat it. Wesker in Resident Evil 5 was a ***** too.
You just reminded me of how much I hated pretty much every boss fight in Lost Planet 1.

I, personally, will forever hate the final boss in DoA 4.
In a game where the AI can hit you while you're down, but you can't hit them when they're down, it takes a special kind of bullshit to really stand out from the crowd.
Teleporting to safety mid-combo, unblockable grab attacks and a moveset full of attacks that will take out half your health in one hit? That makes for one controller-smashing boss fight.

This guy makes it look relatively easy, but one of the most frustrating things about this boss was that if you died at any point, you had to fight all three forms again. Additionally, if you lost all your lives, you had to go all the way back to the beginning of the stage. I literally broke a controller because of this game, which is even more remarkable because I was only eleven at the time and the NES controllers were damn near indestructible. I've never been so relieved to beat a game before or since.<youtube=UpusTrThAc0>

Castlevania 1 on the NES too, difficult to the extreme.
No if you have holy water. If you have holy water, it's hella easy. Also, you can go back and forth and the candelabras reappear, so you can go in with as much ammo as you want. First form is VERY patterned. Second form, just holy water... he'll freeze... feel free to whip the crap out of him.

Legend of Dragoon 2 (4 game discs). "The God Of Destruction"
Impossible to beat if you never got a specific armor "legend casque" back in disk the end of disc 1 for 10,000 Gold. no one has that much unless you but it later, or you find the secret monster to kill for 500 gold a round, but every time you fight that secret monster, it can K.O one of your players, and may run away...

oh, and its also impossible to beat it if you always run from monsters, you need to be near the MAX Level to beat the god. :)

EDIT: If you play to game through, you may get 20,000 gold total (from disc one to disc 4)to raking up money is really hard... unless you fight special monsters. but there hard to find XD even then, you have to kill that special monster 140 times...

Elec beam. Of course, I exploit the pause trick. Easy peasy.

1. Nineball Seraph from Armored Core: Another Age
Half the time he's near-impossible to hit and bombarding you with Missiles and the other half the time he's near-immobile but sending Instant-Kill lasers everywhere.

2. Zinaida from Armored Core: Last Raven
She has one of the most powerful weapons in the game, only her version is super-accurate, has Infinite ammo and can be fired like a goddamn machine gun, did I mention she zooms around at super speed as well? or all the other crap you have to go through just to get to her?

Of all the games I've played these are the ONLY two bosses I've failed to beat

Dullaham from Golden Sun 2 and Dark Dawn.

Also this final boss from the game Area 88 (Un Squardron)
Ok ok this player make it look so easy but trust me the final boss was so hard that I had never once beaten it myself.

Mundus - Devil May Cry 1. Also Jubileus from Bayonetta because the two are very similar. MASSIVE amounts of health, difficult to damage, very damaging and difficult to avoid attacks.

I'll second All In, the final SC2 mission, as well.

The Archdemon in DA:O.

KIDDING.
"OH FUCK. Giant bad ass demon dra--- Oh. Right. I'll just use the Ballista then."
But when you're playing on a higher difficulty without spirit resistance gear and forgot to bring a rogue suddenly the example becomes a lot truer :p

Yeah, on my first playthrough I had no mages and a rogue who was only moderately good at doing the repairs. Second playthrough I brought Morrigan and Wynne... the Archdemon landed on them before flying to the unreachable platform, leaving Alistair to fight the entire Darkspawn horde while my rogue PC attempted to maintain the ballistas. That was a close one.

Crawmerax - Borderlands.
Crawmerax? Psh, I solo him all the time without dying.
WITHOUT gliching?
Yup. Though it involves using Phasewalk a shit ton. I just keep shooting his weak points for massive damage and when he gets close I phasewalk to the pillar behind him, heal, pop out and shoot some more. Repeat. I do die a couple times from bad luck though when I have only a few seconds in second wind, that there are no enemies nearby to kill for one, or he launches me off the arena.

Has no one mentioned Sephiroth yet!?
He was the reason I have 94 Hours on KH2, and that's the Profile on NORMAL Difficulty!
Uh, I DID mention Sephiroth. On the first page.

Although I was talking about his KH1 version. You could debate me on this one, but I'd say his KH1 version is ALOT harder than KH2. Mostly because you don't have reaction commands, and your skills in KH1 aren't as good as the ones in KH2.

Seriously, Trinity Limit makes him MUCH more bearable in 2.

Trying to think of ones that have actually stopped me playing the game due to being too hard.

Most recently it was Tiamat in Darksiders, which is especially annoying as it's one of the first bosses...

The bat? It's easy, so long as you don't try to button mash. You just have to continually throw him away every time he charges. Also, continue to throw the crossblade at him. Do you have the scythe?
