I only preordered one game, and I didn't pick it up because all I wanted was the secret agent Clank promo figure. :p take that Gamestop!

I didn't reserve it but I bought it on it's release, The Force Unleashed.....

I've raged about this game before and I really, REALLY don't want to remember all the annoyances it caused me. The short of it is that I think it is a terrible game.

Probably Medal of Honor. I actually enjoyed it, but it definitely had flaws and the multiplayer was disappointing.

Dragon age 2... I once thought Bioware wasn't capable of failure (that sonic game being somewhat arguable, but ok fo the youngsters) then I bought this fancy box of disappointment... how will I ever be able to trust again?
So because Bioware made 1 disappointing game you can never trust them again. I'm hoping you were being sarcastic there.

My most disappointing game I reserved has to be Modern Warfare 2. Man that game sucked.

Spore, Dragon Age 2, Gothic 4, Black Ops.

I can't pick a single one but just.. Fucking hell. So much disappointment.

Edit: Oh and an (dis)honourable mention.

FFXIV and Homefront are definitely my two most disappointing. Thanks to these games I will never pre-order another game. Especially in todays game market. It seems all too common that games are being released half ass and you have to wait 6+ months for patches to bring them up to par.

Fable 2... Fable Lost Chapters was so good and I thought "Hey Lionhead hasn't let me down yet!" I was young and stupid... now I'm older still stupid and scarred for life by the betrayal...

Another horrible reservation was Magna Carta 1... My god why was I such a stupid child...

To go against the general flow I pre-ordered FFXII and quite enjoyed it. Thankfully I avoided that apparent monstrosity that is DA2.

Side note: Does buying Minecraft in Beta count as reserving?(actually wondering)I feel like it's just semantics.

The Black Edition of Assassin's Creed 2. It's not that the gam ewas disappointing, it's more the fact that it wasn't worth the NINETY F%$KING EURO I paid for an ezio figurine and 3 extra puzzles. I haven't pre-ordered a game since

Red Alert 3. I wasn't expecting it to be particularly good, which tells you just how bad I think it is to have actually disappointed me.

Two Worlds (yes the original)

There I was but a mere teen.....Oblivion had seen almost all of its DLC added and I waited for something like it...

TWO WORLDS

It will be like Oblivion many said!
It is a sandbox rpg deal!
It will have Multiplayer!

So I a bright eyed "child" preordered it

Suikoden IV.

I loved the other games in the series, so I figured it would be at least as good as them if not better.

I could not have been more wrong...

I'm going to have to say Bulletstorm. I reserved Homefront as well (I know, I know.) But, I wasn't expecting as much from Homefront as I was from Bulletstorm..

Dead Rising 2.

If only because I had friends who kept promising they were going to get it so we could co-op and stomp zombies together. Then they didn't. It was sad.

Funny how many games I really enjoy in this thread.

OT: FallOut: New Vegas. I'm not usually one to reserve a game, but after spending three hundred hours in FallOut 3, I felt comfortable with New Vegas. Picking it up the day of release, I've put maybe five hours into that game so far. A very, very frustrating period of bugs and crashes which could be completely fixed by now but my interest isn't there to find out. Yet.
