most dissapointing game ending

I don't get what was wrong with the ending of Fable II, I liked the fact that you had that choice to make, and the way it impacted on the world after the end. Although for my evil hero, I picked the 'More gold than you could imagen ending' which was a bit of a kick in the face since everyone hated me until I re-loaded the game and then everyone was in love with me.

For my pure hero I chose the 'Sacrifice' ending since there would be more people to buy from my shops and rent my houses. I just couldn't bring myself to reveive the dog. It was always so fucking annoying. So now I can't get all the silver keys.

The only game I'v been really disappointed with was 'Silent Hill: Homecoming'. Seriously, abducted by aliens? Come on, that was a complete dick-move.

I know there were different endings but that's the one I got and it sucked.

Now I'm going to look on Youtube at what the other endings were, since I sold the game I'm not going to be able to see for myself.

Although I heard in one of them he gets turned into a pyramid head. (As if there's ever been more than one.)

bioshock = boss battle was not exciting and too easy...then lead to a uneventful ending ((i still love the game though))

This, really didn't feel like a fitting end to such a great game.

And this, I really thought he was going to come back up as some sort of dragon XD.

Also Fallout 3's original ending was dissapointing because it was, well, a brickwall ending, at least they fixed it.

The whole thing was a dream. He never were on that island. How else would you explain that he was on that piece of wood? In the beginning of the game, he was stranded on the island on a piece of wood. That was the same piece of wood. The Wind Fish might have existed, but he never met it.

I was playing it with a friend of mine and I had to go home right before we played the final boss. I went home and pulled up youtube to see the last boss and the ending. I have to say that I was screaming at my computer because I really do not like the ending at all...

Other then that.. I have been good on endings. I have always felt a sense of accomplishment... except for RE5

I was daft enough to buy (and play through) Tunnel Rats (Uwe Boll's 'game', I took one for the team).
As if the game wasn't hampered enough in almost every way, the ending was an even bigger letdown.

There was no piece of wood at the beginning of the game. He was laying on a beach.

At the end you see the Wind Fish "swimming" through the sky overhead, as you sit on your piece of driftwood that mysteriously morphed into a two logged raft.

It certainly gave me the impression the your encounter with the Wind Fish was quite real, after a fashion, and the bloody thing still owed you one.

Good point. I cant really judge the ending, since I havent beat the game, and I dont plan on it. The game is fun for about an hour, then I get bored.

I personally thought that ending was very well done. It was nice to see a sad ending, instead of a corny everybody lives and dances off hand-in-hand to lollipop land.

I wasn't too fond of the 'bad' ending in Bioshock though, it just seemed like it wasn't as well thought out as the good ending, and just thrown together at the last minute.

After all that driving and shooting the guy just walked up and slowly blows all the heads off of the guys youve been playing with the whole game. It was kinda cool when he slid the gun to you but not enough to excuse that ending

That was the beauty of the ending i thought. a real classic anticlimax that actually left me satisfied.

Prince of persia pissed me off slightly. While the DLC episode did a little to quell that anger it was still an annoying sequal setting up cliffhanger... thing...
