Dude, you are really late to the party. I copied the entire synx wikia on the previous page and lurk this forums as I paint to make sure people know it and feel all the more terrified, or mildly annoyed. ^^;

Well, I only really check the forums maybe once a day, and tend to not read every post. Glad to see somebody else enjoys pointing people to sources though.

Really? You go with monster designs from Silent Hill Homecoming to prove your point about Silent Hill monsters being well designed? REALLY? Silent Hill Homecoming not only had some of the least interesting and scary monster designs, the whole game was just abysmally awful.

And seriously, the only good monster design in Silent Hill Homecoming was Scarlet's first form.

Well, while Scarlet truly is creepy, her design alone wasn't creepy enough for me visually. I chose these mainly becuase they had some contortions on the humanoid figure which I found creepy... well not as much contortion as say the SH:Origin monsters but yeah. I knew I'd get shot down for using Homecoming monsters, but I felt that they were creepy looking enough.

As someone who browses Tumblr and DA quite a bit, 'I've seen some shit', as they say.
Here is one of my favorites:

There is something very subtle and unassuming about it, which I love in monster design. After learning more about this thing, I discovered they don't even attack you outright. That really bothers me for some reason. Monsters like that, as rare as they are, freak me the hell out. It's like having a giant spider on your ceiling, waiting and watching as you fall asleep.
