For me, it's either the Tank music, Tager's quote when he starts up the GETB, the sound of the miniguns on a blackhawk or the main weapons of the attack choppers in BC2, or recently Death's laugh on Castlevania Harmony of Despare.

When I play TF2, I live for that sound. Either as a spy or puff-and-sting pyro. Very satisfying.

For most dreaded sounds, I'd say the tank music in L4D. The sound in those games really helps make the moment dramatic.
