Playing a ranked match on BFME against some opponent ranked far below me, I lost the game without us even seeing each others forces.

I managed to have a troll follow some peasants, and thinking I could save them, I opened the gates. I'll probably have time to close the gates before the troll reaches them, I thought. I was wrong, and the troll managed to destroy my entire base.
All this in the first few minutes.

My ranking dropped a thousand places or so. I was quite embarrased.

Mario kart DD, me vs. my friend's younger brother, who has never beaten me in his life, neck and neck in the final stretch. He gets a red shell and pulls an inch in front. Just to be sure, he throws the red shell at the moment we get to the finish line. The red shell hits me, throws me forward into the finish line before him. He hasn't played mario kart with me since.

Haha, Mario Kart can be so embarrassing most of the time because its such pure luck. u___u;

I'm terrible at worms and when playing with friends I kept pressing the A button when it was my turn (thinking, for some crazy reason, that would activate my turn) which would cause myself to bazooka myself.

beat the first ace in mercenaries 1, then while trying to take him alive, right as I was five feet from the chopper, out of nowhere a destroyed helicopter falls out of the sky and killed me. i quit the game after that.

Mine was on Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. There was a national tournament in the U.S. to celebrate the release of the game. I went to the local game store and entered. Everything was random, so nobody knew what was going on at first. At the beginning of my first match, I thought I was playing as Zelda/Sheik. I was happy. Then, after moving around a bit, I discovered that I was playing as Kirby and that my opponent was Zelda. I was playing as KIRBY! I was doomed. It went to sudden death, and I took one hit and died. In the first round. Ugh....

Ah, that's pretty smart! My only other problem was that I hadn't played brawl before (since it wasn't released until the next day), and Kirby's control scheme is so... how shall I say... fluffy? This is especially true for Kirby in Brawl, whereas Zelda could move similarly to how she could in Melee and promptly kick my butt.

not mine but some loudmouth kid in CoD 4said he could "snipe our faces off". so we kicked his ass in domination. he then challenges on of us to a 1v1 and loses crying and calling our guy a "baby" all the time. in a final ditch effort he says get your 4 best guys and play against mine in a "turf war". so we did and beat them by 70 kill in team deathmatch - sad thing was the score limit was 100

got killed in Halo 3 by a piece of a warthog on standoff that got blown up by a fusion coil which was set off by my own frag grenade.

i was about to throw a sticky granade and it was going to be a hit...


...then..the game got canceled /=[

Well there is always the embarrassing grenade suicides but the most embarrassing defeat i had was in CoD:WaW Hardcore Search and Destroy Two guys left me and an enemy he just planted the bomb and i am crawling to disarm it and hopefully kill him on the way there i begin to disarm the bomb and then i hear footsteps as a guy is standing directly above me i stabbed him in his leg and went on with my business but then I die from martyrdom but not from the explosion just the grenade landing on my head, now if it had landed beside me i would have been able to disarm the bomb and win the match but nope it kills me in one hit then explodes and my team loses.

Or the time on Dawn of War(online) where me(Space Marines) Orcs and Eldar are trying to capture a relic(to unleash the mighty Squiggoth) and then we can push on and kill the enemy(1 tau, 1 eldar and 1 necron all working together)so we've dug in with heavy bolters and turrets and whatnot to push them back and get a foothold for the final assault and like any person concerned with an objective we sent all of our troops to that point.
But then we all where unaware to the dangers of a tau stealth squad and a 2 man squad of eldar snipers(forget the name, the scout class) and we got totally destroyed by five guys.

Worst defeat ever.

I'd say that the fact that my sister has a 89 win streak against me at Soul Calibur 4 is somewhat embarassing (for me)...she doesn't even play any game that much.

This one time on Halo:CE we were encountering HEAVY lag and an enemy in a banshee would lag and crush us and then lag before we could rocket him...it was INSANE!
