Most embarrassing death/game over?

How many times has this happened to you? You're walking down a corridor in Halo/Cod/ and you almost kill someone, then they pull a miracle shot out of their bum. Or you did something you thought would work and it went to hell? What is the most embarrassing death or game over you have suffered to someone or a computer? And no, being shot by a computer in L4D versus a mile away doesn't count. That's gay, not embarrassing.

It feels like any death you have when a friend is watching you play is the most embarrassing one.

I can't think of any in particular, but whenever you die at the same spot over and over again feels really embarrassing.

Once i was playing metal gear solid 2 and i had just sharpshooted five guards and a sentry turret to clear off a corridor. I then proceded to run down that corridor and slip on bird crap and fall into the sea.

MW2, I know I shouldnt be playing it, I was shot, knocked into last stand, survive for a good minute while lying down and the moment I stand up a fucking harrier shoots me dead, ooops forgot to say I killed there guys while in last stand.

Usagi Yojimbo. I started the game, hit the wrong button/joystick combo and drew my sword. This scared a villager and made me lose karma, which is low at the start of the game. The loss dropped me to 0 karma and caused me to commit seppuku.

So I lost a game in about five seconds flat to my own accidental dishonor. And disembowelment.

It's not really embarrassing, but my wireless controllers (on both consoles) occasionally walk me off of ledges or into other means of death. The PS3 controller seems to have pretty weak signal, so if I'm playing and on my laptop it will drop connection and slowly walk me to my doom. The XBox just does it for no apparent reason.

Or my personal favourite: Sneezing, Dropping the controller making you press "y" making Niko Bail out of that chopper straight towards that ever so inviting looking building.

I guess they call them pillars for a reason...

Pretty much any of the early deaths in Nethack are going to be embarassing. I've been *deep breath* killed by puppies, kittens, drinking from a faucet, been turned into a gnome and crushed under the weight of my gear, been killed by gnome with a wand of instant death, killed self with momentum by throwing a knife and colliding with a wall while floating, overly long gags, mauled by a shopkeeper, fell into a vault and paid the guard all my money to leave at which point I got killed anyway, blinded myself, put on necklaces of strangulation, used the stairs while exhausted and overloaded fell and crushed myself...

The earliest possible death is on turn 1, attempting to mount your horse if you're a knight, and falling off. It actually earns you a special death quote.

I believe this gives you a good idea of what you shouldn't do in Nethack. The actual possible death list has several thousand entries.

being wounded in a gun fight and accidently shooting your horse in the back of the head then being shot to death by the last guy left alive as he crawls over to you after being shot in the leg and plugs you in the head

I can;t remember which gaeme it was, because it's a little thing I do in all games. I was trying to be stealthy & do a sneak attack on a choise target, when I got stuck in a texture! All the flailing I did to soosen myself attracted the attention of my target & a few of his buddies who sounded the alarm & I was beat down while stuck.

My worst death was, in all things, Pac-Man 2. I barely remember the game at all, but one incident has stayed with me for the last decade-plus. I'd just defeated the last boss, joyfully tried to hookshot my way across the room to the exit... and the ceiling tile I'd hooked fell and crushed me.

I fell through the geometry in the openning train ride in Half Life and died.

On MW2 when u have out an RPG try shoot it down a corridoor and a teammate walks in front of you and the explosion kills you.

Or a funny way to see other people die is when they try and RPG your riot shield at point blank and kill them self leaving you unharmed

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but one of my friends was playing SMB on my NES when I got it about a year ago, and he died on the first goomba. I take every chance I can to remind him of it. Like posting about it on a forum we both frequent.
Wait, I take that back, I do have one. I was paying more attention to a text than the game one round in MW2 and walked into a room full of enemies. I forget what map, but needless to say, I looked up for a split second and it didn't end pretty.

I can't think of any ones myself, but my sister was playing Star Wars Bounty Hunter back in the days of the GameCube, and she was ducking behind a wall, and she clicked to shoot a rocket off her jetpack. It wasn't aimed right though, so it just hit the wall in front of her, and she died instantly...I laughed sooo hard...

The majority of my deaths on Twilight Princess this time around. The wildly swinging camera angles have a little to do with it, but mostly it's me constantly walking Link into the lava five times in a row.

In Oblivion I fell and was trapped between some rocks in the Shivering Isles; and of course I happened to be a full vampire out in the sunshine... yeah.
