- yeah damn those bastards... They turned easy missions to "holy shit, we are all going to die"-missions. They got me so far, sometimes i started to kill civilians just to keep them from breeding... horrible... great monsters.

Other humans would be a logical choice too... those damn 13 year olds and their lighting reflexes (and grating voices in voicechat) God i hate this quick little buggers *g*.

In pretty much all RPGs, I play a warrior-type character.

As such, I hate and fear high-level mages, as more often than not, they can blow me to smithereens with the blink of an eye before I can get close enough to bury my sword in their face.
And thats why I always choose mage when playing RPGs.

The reapers in resident evil 5, god they made me run.
Yeah those Cheapers are bastards, with thier one hit kills.

Albino and Giant Radscorpions freak me out too but the Mirelurk hunters are the worst.

Riku in Kingdom Hearts when he's all possesed by Ansem.
He's really tricky and Donald and Goofy are too busy pickin' their noses to try and help.

I don't know if I ever "fear" an enemy in games as a rule. In any game, the key is simply having the proper tools at my disposal to solve the problem. If I don't have the firepower to kill some enemy, or the enemy cannot be killed, my only recourse is to run and try to find an alternative solution. If an enemy excells at close quarters combat and I only have weapons for fighting at range then I simply must find a way to maintain my range advantage.

As such, while there are times where I dread certain encounters, the general trend seems to indicate that I'm fully capable of dealing with the problem.

If it is a question of "enemy type I least like to face" it is probably a "sniper" archetype. People can desperately try to defend their reasons for resorting to the sniper rifle if they want, all I know is snipers are the quickest way to earn my ire.

The Necrons from Warhammer 40k. An enemy that can get up even after blowing them into pieces is quite a scary thing.

For me, the death claw from Fallout 3 because its quick and deadly.
As soon as I saw the topic name I thought 'DeathClaws' and dreaded the memories. Even maxing out on combat skills and using the best equipment, when I even think they are nearby I run for the vault (or Tenpenny Tower on my current game. Being evil can be so fun)

any enemy that attacks me on low health I get really frightened when even little cannon fodder enemies come out of nowhere and leap at me.

When i was about nine, i owned the first Fable game, and i refused to play the White Balverine quest.
So i waited a number of months, and faced my fears.

But right now? Probably splicers from Bioshock, especially on Hard at the beginning of the game, and during the evening.

Those were more than once the bane of my young and inexperienced X-Com team.

Anyway, I hate the invisible cyborgs/ninjas from FEAR 1. First one almost gave me a heart attack. After that, I was very annoyed by those god damn things.

I would say Chuck Norris, but I would probably be killed for saying it.

So currently, I'll go with epic bosses on videogames when you only have 2 HP left.

Either them or those knight dudes in LoZ Wind Waker.
