Installed Bioshock, played it a bit, and was wondering why there was no sound. I uninstalled, reinstalled, still no sound. I haven't played it since, no idea why the sound simply doesn't work with it, when it works with everything else.

The Clavicus Vile Umbra glitch was a bad one. Everytime I tried to end that quest, the game would lock up. Finally worked around it by fast-travelling into a fight.

Fallout 3's many 'stuck in the scenery' moments, and random crashes.
Actually, this doesn't bother even me...so much as crashes which are NOT random, but fixed. Like...I can't really go around Girdershade in my primary game for some reason. Bethesda hadn't even HEARD of a glitch like that until I spoke it. But I've confirmed that this happens to other people, who just can't go to certain placed because it ALWAYS freezes.
The worst one like that I can think of is The Pitt, which for a week after it came out was unplayable.

Any time I approached the area where the train tunnel was added into the map, the game would crash and freeze.

It happened a lot of people too, there was some intense bitching hehe

That was the game trying to tell you that the Umbra sword is a much better reward than the crappy Mask of Clavicus Ville.

It was helping you!

For some reason, both my PS3's (I have 2, PS3's... haha... one is dead though :[) freeze with any game I play for some reason on the odd occasion... I don't put it under any undue stress or anything, it just does :\

edit: my worst game bug, however, has to be, yep, you guessed it, Fallout 3. first time I played the game and got to the G.O.A.T, as soon as I sat down, everything stopped... I could still look around and sounds kept on going and whatnot, but none of the NPC's moved, and I couldn't move out of the seat...

Two Worlds had one particular glitch that pissed me off.... there was an underground cave section, but every time you tried to enter, it would teleport you about 100ft away from the entrance for some reason.

What really pissed me off was that this was preventing me from getting both the "Find all underground locations" and the "Find all locations" achievements.

Huh, never thought of that! We could use more thoughtful game tapes.:p Have to agree with you too, a sword that devours souls beats a lousy mask any day of the week.

I always thought it was funny when Oblivion would crash as I was quitting.

As for the irritating bugs, clipping issues always piss me off. Once I played this phenomenally shitty game called Dungeon Lords (those who are familiar with this game know how shitty it is), as I was heading into a town I got stuck INSIDE the fucking city gate, literally inside. I couldn't move or do anything except reload my last save. Pissed me off.

There was a bug in Bravil, featuring Skriiva, where paying her to get rid of your bounty didn't stop the guards from attacking you, even though you had no bounty. That basically meant I couldn't go to Bravil.

Hmmm, let's see...

Well in many "open world" games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion I would every now and then get stuck between rocks, trees and walls. Also, it's oh-so-fun to suddenly fall through the ground...and keep falling for all eternity, until you get tired of it and reload the game.

Oh yeah, in Mass Effect, I have had this "hilarious" bug that appears like this: every time my weapon would get overheated, it would stay like that...the entire time I played that particular save. Only by reloading my last save would the bug go away. Once I got a bit frustrated, when every single weapon I had, had overheated so I had nothing to shoot the enemies with. Fun times ensued...

Indeed. It sucked though that in order to finish the Daedric Quests and acquire one of the best items in the game, you had to first give Umbra back and get that ugly ass mask in return.

I have yet to encounter a glitch which really bugged me. Since I play solely on the PC, I can almost always console, mod or patch my way to bug fixes (like in Oblivion, Morrowind and Fallout - the console helps when getting stuck somewhere). Probably the thing that bugs me the most is in Ghost Master (It's a good, if buggy game, and it lacks a free play mode), when a vital character gets stuck in an item and you have to restart a difficult mission because there's no such thing as a console. But I can live with that.

I do like the descriptive language in that error though makes it sound as if it was going to explode :)

Can you please explain exactly how you did that? Cause i have the same problem.

on topic: Pretty much most bugs in oblivion and fallout.

fallout 3: guns ingore my ammo,
and Sergeant RL-3 dissapearing (after i put my stuff into him)

oblivion: When the game tells you ther are enemies nearby, so you can't wait or fast-travel even when your in a city,
and of course the game telling you that "perfection can not be imporoved" even tough my atributes ar not 100 and my level not 30.
