Bruiser: A street sweeper's tales.

The story has a very very sad ending. Everything else made me laugh, except the end.

the end to half life 2 episode 2 (which was my favorite by the way) dont read this if your playing through half life now

you go through stuff that it would problay take a whole division of rebels to do, kill enough combine to fill all the graveyards in the US, kill obscene amounts of striders and hunters, save alyxs life, and finally launch that the rocket that (at this point anyway) seems to have saved and liberated humanity

only to have to oversized slugs come through a fucking window and kill eli, it was the biggest cock slap ive ever endured

The Mist. Seriously, if he just waited five minutes everything would have been okay. Also, that person you thought was dead? She's alive and she was right. Hope that wasn't very spoilery.
Ah you bastard, Ninja'd.

Yeah, The Mist had, by far, the most messed up ending to anything I've ever seen/read/played. It came right the hell out of no where, and I actually thought it made the movie stronger for it.
That makes you and me the only people I know who liked the ending to The Mist. For some reason, hyper-downer endings like that seem to upset most people...

A Scanner Darkly, It ends on two notes, depressing and scary, the depressing comes from the fate of the main character, betrayed by all those around him, his life sacrificed for the greater good, and the scary comes from the final visual of the story, which left me speechless.

The movie version of The Mist left me feeling ill.. the book was 100x more hopeful than that.

Also Eyes Wide Shut. Biggest waste of combined 4 hours on movies. I get more upset than anything when things get fucked up fast.

The ending of School Days. That's all I could think of when I read the title.
Don't want to spoil anything, but I'll never get that out of my head...ever.

Giant floating space fetus hovering over Earth anyone?

Not only was 2001's ending mind bending but it was a good 20 minutes long.

I watched End of Evangelion when I was thirteen...

It... changed me... I can't explain it, but man, that is one fucked up end of a show.

Yes, I did understand it in its entirety at the time too.

EDIT: And, because I must...

You can't break those cuffs! [http://www.cuffs.ytmnd.com/]
This. But I loved it. I love fucked up endings. They are great.

OT: Not really sure what to list, maybe the bad ending from Fatal Frame 2, the ending of School Days and basically every ending of the Silent Hill franchise.

I believe that was intentional, seeing as there will be a sequel. (I still have hope!) It sets up a desire to kill the giant maggoty thingies. I can't remember the name right now, but it'll come back an hour from now, when it doesn't matter. Players won't want to go and kill more combine, more headcrab zombies, more antlions. Even hunters and striders, while pretty awesome and unique, have become less of a special thing to us. So they're throwing a new, extremely powerful thing into the mix to persuade us to buy the next game.

That said, yes. Especially the way in which he was killed...I don't want to know what that's all about.

I've already said it once but here it is again:

The end of the movie 'Doppelganger'.

This movie is about Drew Barrymore playing a girl who seems to suffer from two alternate personalities, one which is quiet and friendly and the other which is deadly and psychotic. She seems convinced that it is not merely her in a different mindset but rather is an entirely different being altogether. Her confused boyfriend then does some investigation and eventually confronts the truth and then suddenly when confronted by the realisation of the truth Drew....

...Morphs into a giant fleshy worm that then grows to the size of a couch and then splits in half unleashing two inside out creatures that look like Muppet fetuses that then proceed to kill each other and morph back into the worm which then un-eats itself back into Drew Barrymore again.

I've said it out loud and I feel like I've gone insane.

Not just the ending but the ENTIRE FUCKING THING: Requiem for a Dream. If you have seen it you know how fucked up it actually is.
