Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is the funnest, best game I've ever played. Now, I've never really been a fan of racing sims or games. Sure, I've played GRID, Forza 2, Need For Speed, Motorstorm, and Pure, but I've always been very casual about it, they never really sucked me in. I've never been a big fan of the Gran Turismo series either. In fact, I've never played a GT game in my life and I've never really wanted to; however, earlier today, I saw a bunch of videos of people drifting in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue (the video released by the Playstation youtube channel sparked my interest) and I've become fascinated with the game (and cars in general). So, I read the reviews, watched more videos, talked to friends about it, and finally decided to give it a try and download Prologue from the Playstation Network. To put it simply: Best. Game. Ever.
I'm actually quite surprised that I like GT 5 Prologue more than every other game I've ever played. It's odd. There's just something about it that I love more than anything else. Maybe it's cruising at 140mph in a black Ford Mustang, or maybe it's just the overall feel of it all. I don't know, but something about it is just wonderful. What do you think it is?
