Cliff Racers in Morrowind. They are frustrating on so many lvls.
And how about those damn sleepers waking you up when you're trying to sleep in a town?

Yeah I know, especially when you just want to get through an area and they are everywhere. Why won't they die.

Everything that takes a million shots to kill. That's one of the reasons I didn't enjoy Fallout 3 as much as I wanted to. I want headshots to be deadly!

Probably those stupid cliff racers in Morrowind. They were stupid, aggressive, and prolific. They seriously caused some headaches when my character was low-level.
(...Thereby showing another reason to avoid auto-leveling your foes. Sorry, Oblivion, that was a stupid concept.)

I'll take your Team Rocket and raise you Team Galactic. At least Rocket get locked in rooms you don't go into, and I'm fairly sure that you only raid one Rocket-held buildings, as oposed to 3(though I'm not intirely sure about that...).

Everything that moves in Golden Axe on PS3..... yes i was stupid enough to buy it. in fact that's not fair to the grunts, i also hated with more passion the main protagonist and right up there at the top of the hate tower are the goddamn awful cows and ghekko's you wander around on!!

They usually are if you have a sniper and don't try to use VATS from a long distance AND have 100 in that weapon skill. They can't exactly make every head-shot deadly in a game that does half the aiming for you :)

In my opinion, fallout 3 is the closest you can get to making a successful shooter-rpg, it's not perfect, but they're hardly the best genres to try blend, but hopefully Huxley can contest that when it comes out.

ALL the knights in assassains creed. They're so easy once you get the counter move that they suddenly all become grunts, (except maybe templars). They should've stuck with the original idea of making a sword-fight more realistic, of it being one, sometimes two hits to kill you.

Zombies are awful, especially in HL2. They are used as a huge crutch in that game and both expansions. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say at least half the enemies you fight in that game are zombies.

Those rats in Oblivion that you kill in one hit.

They butt in with my normal running around and make me draw my weapon needlessly because I can't aim spells for my life.

Worst grunts would have to of been the scythes from darkwatch. Bastard things soak up a ton of damage, fast as hell and the console aiming didn't help the slightest.

Well, i think the title's fairly self explanitary.

Definition:[/B] Grunts are wave enemies, or generic filler. So no bosses unfortunately.

Personally, I hate zombies, They are a tired concept now. Same with the Pirate vs Ninja thing. Amusing at first, Now irritating.

I also dislike the plasma grenading Matyrdom Grunt in H3.

So, Most hated grunt? - Discuss.
Hmm, I think we've all come across enemies in games which are just plain annoying. Either too over-used/repetive, over powered or just constantly popping up.

I would proberbly say, most of the creatures in HellGate London and the Barnacles in HL2 < because the latter scares me

I disagree Deathclaws...
Theyre a bit too big to be classed as "grunts" - Theyre more in the group "Nasty Buggers"
