Most Iconic Game Theme/Music

I started thinking about this when I talked to a mate about why DICE didn't use the original Battlefield theme in the game. Neither of us could understand it. We both saw it as perhaps the most recognisable theme in gaming, maybe second to the Halo theme in recognition.

So, Escapist, what do you think? What would you say is THE most well known and revered theme in gaming? One that even people who don't play games might know and recognise.

Mario and Zelda. Anyone and everyone can recognize those. Even the simple little item catch theme from Zelda is instantly recognizable. Perhaps The Final Fantasy Victory fanfare...

Also, though it's only been in games based off of the series, and originated in Film form... Both Indiana Jones and Star Wars... Everybody but everybody recognizes those.
