Little Rocket Man acheivement from Half Life 2 Episode 2, trying to keep that god damned knome (spelling) with me has ended the lives of about all my friends.
Its easy, just wedge the gnome into the back window of the car and the only way it falls out is if its shot with a helicopter.

Just run into the safe room while you're miles ahead of them and take all their meds on easy.
what I found hard was the one where you can't shoot any of your teamates once. I HAVE ENOUGH TROUBLE NOT EMPTYING A WHOLE FUCKING CLIP INTO THE PRICKS!

Hacking 50 terminals in Fallout 3. It wouldn't be nearly so hard if I didn't have to get a frakkin' pen and paper out just to work out the arcane formulas that you need to work out just to get the terminal hacked. And you have to do this fifty times!

Brass Balls in Bioshock. Forget about the fact that you have to beat the game on Hard mode- I've done it before and it's doable, even if you save all the Little Sisters, which is what I did on that playthrough- but the fact that you cannot ever use ANY vita-chambers, EVER, makes it quite challenging.

Beating the bonus mission in Call of Duty 4 on Veteran. Seriously, just don't even try.

And finally, killing General RAAM in the original Gears of War on any difficulty other than Easy should be an achievement in and of itself. Unfortunately, you have to beat him on HARDCORE difficulty to get the achievement I'm thinking of, not even counting the achievement(s) you get for beating the whole game.
Ive gotten mile high club... it took me and my friend 4-5 hours and a guide

Any of the campaign completed achievements in Empire: Total War. I've had games where I've completed the required task (gain X provinces including victory provinces, whatever), been well on my way to steamrollering the entire campaign map, and just started autoresolving battles to get to the campaign's end time just so I could say I'd done it.

There is an achievement in Dynasty Warriors 6 in which you have to level every character to 50.
There are 42 characters to do this with, and each takes at least 4 or 5 hours to do (if you don't die) and you have to do it in the most repetitive levels for the better exp.

I dunno, I just find it frustrating.
It might sound easy, but there are very few characters with unique moves (maybe about 10), and the rest are practically clones with different models to em.
Gets boring fast.

Zombie Genocidist.

Fuck that.
Umm..if you're talking about the left 4 dead achievement, that's really easy, just have to keep playing it. Unless you have it for the console and you don't have online capability in which case..that would suck. Versus mode is the only thing that keeps me playing that game..and even that's starting to piss me off..
No, he means Dead Rising. Its more time consuming than it is annoying; but still a heluvalot more frustrating than Left 4 Dead's. PLUS: L4D you need one more kill than you do in Dead Rising.
Ohh ok, I knew that the l4d achievement was a playoff of the dead rising one i just didn't know they were called the same thing.
and prototype has a playoff of L4D AND dead rising called Trail of Corpses, wher you have to kill 1 more than in l4d.

Nothing Special in L4D (Complete a Campaign with no survivor taking damage from a special infected). Why Valve? Why?

Definitely the 5/7 day survivor achievements in Deadrising. Like, even if you time everything perfectly, killed all of the right enemies at the right times, got all the food items in every sector of the mall, and didn't mess up one time, the "Trusty 'ol" Xbox 360 is basically a ticking time bomb, and is absolutely sure to crash at some point.

P.S. I DID get Zombie Genocidist. It took me an entire fricking Saturday though. Probably the third largest waste of time in my entire life.

the one in gh3 that says you need to get a gold star on every song on expert.

play though mass effect 3 times i am stuggling to get pass my secound not in terms of game but i don't really like replaying story intensive games becuase most of the fun is lost after a bit but now have to finish it so i have a completed file for me2.

all of the online ones are impossible for me since i don't have xbl anymore.

and i agree for the guy above who said the starter achivments like create a charecter are a bit annoying when you thought you did something cool only to get a basic achivment.

Beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert difficulty. Fuck. That.

Also GH5 is out? Didn't know that...
I actually did survive, nowhere twards 100, Through Fire and Flames. The % was 78.

OT: Nothing Special, L4D.

Also, I got all the flags on Sin's Creed with no guide. I had to search every level and its fucking dog to get them all, but it was worth it.
so many people are complaining about that achievement.
i got it, and now i feel like i'm a god or something for getting it.
i really think that for the 15g's it's worth, i think not getting it won't make a difference in your GS.
and it's like 1000x harder than Jordan, but it's worth half of the G's.
seriously, WTF.
take it from me, don't bother getting it unless you wanna waste 3 hours of your time practicing the intro and making yourself look like the biggest nerd on your friends list.

The "It's all about Prestige" achievement in Call of Duty: World at War. You give up all the guns you had , all of the challenges you completed, and all of the perks you collected. All of that for an achievement worth 0 gamer score. Then there's the "Go get some sun" achievement. You go to your tenth prestige and reach level 65 to get it. Most annoying achievement ever. It's also worth 0 gamer score.

Beat the game on hard without dying

So far my best one is 9 deaths, after 2 years of trying
